The thing about Tray & Play is true right? It is not mentioned in the FAQ.

If you don't know what is Tray & Play, it's similar to the process of inserting disc into a game console and you can play it instantly, except on a PC, you had to wait 2 minutes of installation before jumping into action.

Yes, now you can click "play", and it will launch the game after 30 seconds, and you can play while it copies files in the background. The game might be a bit laggier than if it is fully copied to the hard drive, but after a few minutes the copy will be complete and you won't need to play with the DVD anymore.

The Tray & Play feature sounds nice, but how much time could it really save? What's a full install gonna take - 3mins?

Not hatin', just askin'.

It's for people who need that extra 2 minutes of gameplay ;-)

I have been waiting two years to play the campaign I'm not waiting another 5mins. In testing the install was done as much as twenty minutes after they started, but I have a feeling that it would go quicker by doing it normally.

they say something is wrong with the installation, my bet is it is something wrong with the tray and pay feature because it is the 1st time it is on pc so there might be bugs.... maybe....who knows....i sure don't...

Tray & Play is cool, but if they're really doing this just so they can help PC games more easier to just jump in and play, why doesn't the game start the moment you put the disk into your PC like it does on most consoles?

Seems unnecessary.

It's not mentioned in the FAQ because I thought no one would care for such a useless feature.

I usually read the manual in the intervening time it takes to install a PC game. That way I'm not totally clueless when the game suddenly stops working.
