Now you like the rest of Halo for Pc fans woke up this morning and went to your local game retailer to only find out that Halo 2 has been pushed back. Well most of us now have to wait, unlike those people who were lucky and beat the crowd. I really don't understand how companies like EB Games and Game stop and others say when a game is delayed and when it will be in stores. Only the official publishers/developers can. They may contact them, but with no press release. Really not heard of...
We all know that something has happened, my bet is that the distribution is screwed up. The started to Ship a little late. Not bungies, M$, or Hire guns fault but what is their fault is that they are not keeping us updated. I really don't know why they don't just say what happen. I know it will come out soon, but you know when something is so post to be grained in stone they need to keep it that way. I hope to get my copy soon, but I don't know why I have to wait longer.

ill give you one word into why it is delayed: LIVE. period. end of story. installation issues my ass....... if they screwed up installation then those hired guns people need to be shot. no it is live, it has to be that is the new tech with this deal (other than tray and play but that really isnt new just imported from consols) and we all know what happens with new tech... *sound of a server self imploding*

Why would they delay the whole game, couldn't they just delay the online play. It really doesn't make since.

ok 1st of all: doesnt make since what? since means something happened in the past such as: i havnt had good sex since sarah..... o hi Sarah!
u mean sense

2nd: they delay the entire game because it is VERY poor business ethics to release a half working product into the market. that is like selling someone a car without an engine cooling system. you would get off the lot but that is it (or selling a car with just an engine and a frame and the dealer saying the rest of the car is coming to you in two weeks enjoy!). they would rather delay it then to have a half working product.

What it is.

Then what's all this talk about stores like Futureshop, CC, and BB releasing it Thrusday(hopefully)...Personally i think Live works fine. I still have this 'Bug Bash' game from the Games for Windows Live beta and i sign on Live just fine. I've also been able to do things like chat to Xbox 360 people and that works fine. If it is the 22nd then it better not be any later than that.

Yeah, I disagree with it being live. It is because I believe that multiple people who work for M$ got Halo 2 for Vista early and they have played online. Also you analogy is incorrect. It would be that you would get the air cooling system in about 2 weeks after you have the car. for no cost. Really if it is live then the game is done and they are working on server issues. Even though I dought it is that case.

well then bad business for companies releasing games that are not finished, you must have never played any of the dice games such as the battlefield series and yet they are umong the most popular and successful games on pc

plus i personally think its all the server issues with the release of halo3 beta and the spring update for 360 they think that pc gaming is dead and consoles are more important so they are waiting for most people to download it and have it before they start live for gaming on pc
