My trust in Bungie.net is slowly diminishing. I mean, yeah, the upgrade is nice n' all, but usually an upgrade doesn't mean you lose significant functionality and performance.

That's Hotmail/Windows Live/MSN, trying to protect your privacy, by forcing all information you give (e-mail address and password) go encrypted through a secure connection. Then, that's Mozilla Firefox asking you if you want to accept the certificate or not.

That has nothing to do with Bungie and it's trust, and I'm sure every other computer savvy person in these forums are laughing at you guys as I am now.

The website? Why shouldn't I? I have my doubts that I'm going to end up with a virus, or get AIDS just because I signed on to Bungie.net.

To tell you guys the truth I trust BUNGIE.NET more than I trust MYSPACE.com because when I was a myspace member somebody hacked into my computer in the 1 day thats why I deleted my name from that, and I fell more secure with the privacy thing shown at the beggining of BUNGIE.net (for my space I had a password 60 letters long!!!!!!!!!!!)

I work here: Sound Devices, LLC. We make bad-ass field audio gear, and you think that's awesome. My messy desk (With work-related items on the computer screen).

That happens when you get the password wrong. Because B.net doesn't reply when that happens, Firefox thinks it's just taking your info.

2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Do you really think the creators of the biggest franchise on Xbox would create a bad name for themselves by attaching viruses to their official site?

Bungie.net is not a sentient being. It therefore is unworthy of trust. I trust the employees to do their job, but I don't know them personally so I wouldn't trust them with my ATM card. Well, they've probably got a buttload more money than me. Maybe I would trust them with the ATM card.... But you should get the point.

Pfft, it's not like you have any money in the bank anyway... Would you trust me with your ATM card?

But yeah... Bungie.net is about as clean as sites can get, I think those precautions have to do with your internet settings.

Of course not. Have you seen the guy in charge? He's inside, but wearing sunglasses? He's obviously hiding something. Possibly something about your Mom... And what the hell is up with that lightning in his avatar? That mad scientist vibe is a little creepy.

No, I certainly don't trust bungie.net.
