"Inside every cynical person is a disappointed idealist."

Ive noticed there have been groups on it with less than 100 members, and no posts since three months ago, and Ive also noticed that a ton of Bungies most active groups, havent even been on it yet. Im not complaining, Im just wondering how it works.

"I have no words that would do justice to the atrocities you commit to the English language, as well as your continued assaults on the concepts of basic literacy and logical reasoning."

It selects the top 250 based on a certain criteria, then it randomly picks a few everyday to show.

It deliberately doesn't always pick the top groups, because there is a large dropoff between the top 25 or so and the rest of them. The point is to expose you to more than just the biggest and most well known groups. It is to expose you to groups that are a little smaller, but still do good stuff.

So, I think it works exactly how it should be working.

Anyone but Foman. He smells like cheese.

7th Column Community Home. It went up when groups went back up a couple weeks ago. Check it out -- it's pretty cool.

^Say hello to your blacklist.

One of the groups in that spotlight has had no new posts in 6 months. I would hope it filters inactive groups, but I guess not...

Regardless of its shortcomings, I like the system. Thanks!
