I chuckle at the fact that we here at the MAW forum still don't get it. This forum is looking more and more like a magnet for the immature, morons of the internet, as senseless threads are ceaselessly created daily. We need to follow the example of the other forums on this site. As asinine threads pop up, what do we do? Well, we flame the ignorant SOB for creating such a dreadful abomination unworthy to our judgemental eyes. What do they do? They ignore the POS. Yeah that's right, they ignore the POS. In doing so they are essentially maturely allowing those stupid-ass threads to die a merciful death, as they fall into the depths of thread pages.

We needn't respond to bluthering moronic threads, flaming the author and creating the next installment of "Keyboard Battles: When Nerds Fight Back." By allowing those threads to die, we will essentially let those legitimately good threads stay where they belong-- at or near the top. By responding to them, we are keeping them afloat and allowing the good threads to be overlooked.

I normally wouldn't create a subject for this, and I was going to post it here except it was surprisingly locked. While turning heads the other way will significantly help, I have a feeling it won't be applicable here. But hell, it's just a suggestion.

Also, I realize that some of the other forums are faster paced, taking it less time for threads to die. I also realize that a good deal of the time, many threads that should be ignored aren't. That isn't to say, though, that it would be unsuccessful here.

Anyway that is my two cents of a dollar short. Actually, I wouldn't mind if this was ignored =D
And please, no quote waterfalls.

Cheers.

I think more immature people came here becasue the words HALO 2 entered the name, back when it was the MAW people didin't know it was a halo 2 fourm so the seven year olds stayed out. And yes what you said about ignoring retarded threads and starting a flame fest *cough Chillout 1v1 cough* is good.

Listen this isn't a forum for mature flaming the immature, this is a gaming forum, who cares if the threads are a little immature. If any thread is not suited on this forum, they will get deleted, simple as. Also, you will be the one to be blacklisted for flaming members of this forum for no valid reason.

1. A little immature I can take, but a lot no.
2. They won't get deleted, as the mods haven't deleted any of these threads yet.
3. BUT sometimes we do have a valid reason for flamming.

Great solution.
I dont think there's a solvent, though, since we aren't diluting anything. Unless you meen diluting the stupid threads with inteligent threads.

Guys, if you agree that a sertain thread should die, don't post on it to say that you think so, unless it is alredy at the top of the page. Or else you bump it and it takes longer for it to die.
