FYI.. I read the entire post, comprehended the little girls crying about nothing, learned that stupidity is contagious, live it every day on these forums, and love pointing it out to people like you. : o

Good news except for the Unranked Rumble Pit. I'm surprised since Rumble Pit is one of the more popular playlists. I can't imagine the reasoning behind that. Please explain?
Ranked Rumble pit is not popular.... that's why it was cut.
What chart are you looking at? Bungie had a weekly update awhile back showing that was one of the top playlists. Anybody remember where to find that pie chart?
Here you go...

And guys, please remember the forums are not the most unbiased place to find data on who plays what. You may have noticed that people here tend to make wild claims with no support evidence quite often here, just to add some kind of data point to support whatever point they are trying to make. Do you really think if the statistics some of you pull out of your collective nether regions were true (as in Big Team Skirmish was as popular as you say) that we'd be condensing it? Same goes for Rumble Pit.
and this...

Two reasons:
1. It doesn't "shut people up." When we have posted the charts in the past they are either ignored, misinterpreted, or people demand to know why we are lying about usage.
2. It isn't a small effort to make charts from the data in an easily presentable form. Considering that it wouldn't change anything (people would still be pissed about the changes they don't like, and we'd still make them anyway), it is simply time we don't have. We are two days until Halo 3 becomes public for the first time, and a few days after that even more people see it. Nobody has half a day to make charts for you to explain something you're going to disagree with anyway. That is a bit harsh, but that is how it has been in the past when we have shown a few usage charts. Besides, I've said pretty much what those charts would tell you, and you and others have basically told me in no uncertain terms that we are interpreting things wrong and if only you had the data you could show me why.
This is a circular argument and it is pointless to continue. The changes will be made, and we'll let them stew a bit, and then make more changes based on the results. It is possible you'll get rank BTB then. It is also possible population will drop off radically and we'll have to remove more playlists. But I'm done arguing about these changes. We've both given our opinions - I'm not going to convince you and you aren't going to convince me. I thank you for keeping it civil (you and others too) - despite the complaints, I don't think many people made it personal and had to be banned. That means a lot to me. Hopefully whatever the next playlist changes are will be more to your liking.
