Clearly you have a serious problem with teamwork. If the enemy is using it it's '"cheap tactics!!1one!" and if your teammates help you it's "OMG YOU STOLE MY KILL!!!". Learn to not blindly rush out in the open where you're the only target surrounded by lots of other people, and move around fairly close to a few other teammates. The opposing fire will be shared out among your allies and your enemies will be more likely to be injured when you shoot them meaning you should get kills as well. For example a hog with gunner seriously increases the killitude of the vehicle vs lightly armed infantry and even heavy infantry (if you stay away from them and let your gunner do the work). Remember, in team games it's not just you who wins, it's the team. Coming in first is still losing if you're on the losing team.
In free for all games, just shoot better and don't run out into the open; try to use grenades to finish people off, especially if they are engaged in fights themselves: you are far more likely to get a kill like that than by pistol alone, since it does more damage.
Also, shoot better and try practicing headshots. It's always an advantage.
No, I do FINE with teamwork. I'm talking about free-for-alls when this happens. No matter how careful I am, I ALWAYS get double/triple teamed. And yes, I know how to aim >_>. I've gotten very good with pistol Head Shots.
If you're "good with the pistol" as you say, how come in your original post, you said "while I'm fighting my opponent with the pistol for a MINUTE" (or something alogn the lines of that, I don't feel like checking)? A 3-5sk (which is how much it takes to kill someone with the pistol from headshot to bodyshot), only takes about 5-7 seconds. 10 seconds if you prefer firing slowly.
So technically, learn how the hell to aim and how to compensate for lag.
