Check out the Postgame Carnage Report! The uncensored, NSFW Halo fan podcast!

I just hope that it covers the whole project orion debate and whether or not Johnson is in fact a Spartan I

Ahh from the very heart of one of Halo's creative writers. This will rule. This will be awesomely in depth. More Johnson back story? Hell yeah! Bring on the Orion Project! Joe, you rule!

If there's one thing I have learned in working with you, it's that there is always margin for error.

"We're on the side of the demons, Chief. We're evil men in the gardens of paradise, sent by the forces of death to spread devastation and destruction wherever we go. I'm surprised you didn't know that."

Aww YEAH. I'm certain this will be the best Halo novel yet, straight from the horse's mouth so to speak.

I have only one request with this book and I wish staten all the best.

Please run spell check before you publish the book, that has always been my biggest disappointment the books, if you need to you can send me a copy and I will be happy to help proofread ;)

The only reason I didn't like the previous Halo novels was because they weren't written by the Halo story-line writers.
The books just didn't feel like Halo, but knowing Joseph Staten is writing it, this will be good.

GT: Greg Is So Hot

I'm a little concerned considering the cheesy sci-fi dialog from Halo 2, how's that going to translate into a Halo book, directly from the mind of the screen writer himself?

Halo 1 dialog was intelligent, I loved it... Now if you guys can stop coming up with stupid names like "High Charity" (Collectively constructed steward by the Covenant's massively obedient and trusting oaths with each other) and "In Amber Clad" (wtf? no fashion taste what-so-ever), all the Prophets and blah blah, go back to your "Truth and Reconciliation" (Took a while to figure that one), "Silent Cartographer" (Why was it meant to be silent?) and "Pillar of Autumn" (final support during the Fall of Reach, hehehhuhhu...) days.

Guess I'll just have to wait and see. :(

I hope it is better than Ghosts of Onyx, which is definitely the "Halo 2" of the novel series.

The Halo novels are frikken awesome(I have all of them). Can anyone tell me what the SPARTAN 1s were like. There had to have been SPARTAN1 or were they a failed project.

Johnson must be like 50 then...at the very least 48. Didnt really think of him as that old. He must have been 18 if he was on harvest since 18 is the military drafting age, unless thats changed but is doubtful since we werent involved in a conflict prior to his enlistment. Add on the thirty years after and boom he must be at least 48 unless the book shows his life as a kid...
