OC girl they are the best.. lol The good players on XBL play with the pros and eventually go to events. This years opener a player who had never been to an event Igoturpistola Placed 3rd in the ffa however was already known on live.. They're the best.
Maybe you misunderstood me.
Some of the players who may actually be "the best" might not have the money to go, and/or might not have the time to go.
Maybe you misunderstood me.. A player who was that "good" would be playing with pros on live. Even if they didn't attend events they would be well known and playing with top players.
That's a huge generalization. If it happened to a player like you or me - maybe. But it's not necessarily true. The player may not have enough time to make good friends, or perhaps shares their account. Or maybe they don't want to be associated with pros. Or maybe their parents don't let them accept FRs.
Nope. maybe there are people out there who have the "potential" to be as good. But the pros have more than just basic skill. They have teamwork and knowledge of the game you can only game by playing.....well with the pros. If you don't take this game seriously, you won't become as good as them.
Yes, there are kids that can't afford it, but if they were that good, they would play with pros, and if they formed a good enough team, a sponsorship would not be hard at all. There are kids who are nothing remotely close to good at this game, who get sponsorships, its really not that hard. With its rising popularity, companies are looking to give sponsorships.
Again, there isn't some random kid who plays once a week who is as good as the pros, but just never plays with them.
Generally, I agree, but I also believe that there are exceptions.
After all, where did the pros come from? They started out as novices just like everyone else.
I think there's always a potential to be that good without sponsorships or tournaments. For all we know, somewhere in Iowa there could be a group of kids who play each other on LAN every day, and have developed amazing aim, teamwork, and strategy by continuously playing. They wouldn't have Live and no one would know about them. I'm not necessarily suggesting that this is true - for all I know, the pros are the best - but I'm saying that it is a possibility.
Yes, in general, the better players will eventually play with the pros or be sponsored, if they so choose (that's also something to consider), but I'm just saying it's possible to become that skilled without going through the "pro" circuit, or even knowing about it, for that matter.Ok the best are the pros... They have been the best since H1 and have been constantly playing with each other. You are as good as the people you play with, it is HIGHLY unlikely someone who has not been playing with the best or ever gone to an event will come in 1st..... These people devote their life to the game they are simply the best of the best. And if someone is better they would have beaten them in THC, which would make the pros send them FRs and they would be playing with them. This doesnt happen because the pros are called professionals for a reason......
