Bungie has done great work with combating cheating. Modders banned immediately and bridgers not being able to force host to either a person to cheat or not get cheated (ironic contradiction). Standbying is tough to fight but, they have ways of finding it faster and more effective for a efficient ban. I know I can speak for everyone (besides the cheaters) that Bungie came through and is giving us awesome legit games for some very fun action. Ok now thats enough sunshine being blowed into Bungie's ass.
I've been sort of in a hiatus with playing and keeping up to date with everything because well basically work calls for my full attention (not to mention just having a life in general). I'm starting to get back on and into the groove again. My point of this thread is... It's kind of odd how everything just got fixed (snaps finger) like that. Yeah they probably have been working on it for awhile but, it is wierd how they did all this right BEFORE the Halo 3 stretch. My opinion might vary from everyone elses and i'm sure it does. Microsoft (Bungie's boss) makes money off lil punk kids that cheat and keep using there parents money... aka credit card. They got there fill and Bungie was able to induce all the anti-cheating stuff they want. I might be going out on a limb here but, I dont think Bungie is dumb enough to not be able to figure out ways awhile back too fix modders getting BANNED FASTER (how hard is it too decompile the code to be change from a half day to almost instant???) and bridgers forcing boxes. Just some food for though...
