Thank you Bungie, for finally giving me a reward for beating your games on Legendary, ridin' solo!
IMO...Halo is fun. I have been playing it for nearly 6 years now, and am fairly good at it. However, GoW is more appealing to me. I mean, to me, it is not only more realistic visually (next gen), but the gameplay is more realistic than Halo's. I mean, in GoW, you take a shotgun to someone at close range, and they blow apart. In Halo, they don't blow apart, they just die. That said, in GoW if you don't "blow the person apart," you can knock them down so they cannot move...allowing you to kill them before they run away.
Running is also another plus in that in Halo, you can't really "run," whereas in GoW, you can. Cover mode is awesome, and so is diving. Diving is something I hoped for in Halo, Halo 2, and am hoping for Halo 3 (although I already know it wont be in there, because it isnt "halo").
Although the campaign in GoW was "questionable," it wasn't undercooked. There were surprises, bosses, and "WOW" moments. In Halo 2 (not Halo: CE) there weren't as many "WOW" moments, more just "I've seen this in the E3 trailer...cool." Halo 3 should be fun, but what about GoW 2? : )
GoW FTW! Halo is alright, I'm waiting for H3 to come along though, to base my final opinion. H2 is...old.

Oh, and on a side note comparing the two games in Campaign (GoW & Halo 2), GoW seemed like there was more at stake...and in Halo 2, it seems more...far-fetched (if that makes any sense). Not to mention the multicolored aliens/alien space ships/guns. Whereas in GoW, everything is dark, dreary, and you feel like there is little hope left.
