I figured I'd make a poll about this, I want to see what everybody else thinks.

Anyone going to post anything? If enough people feel that the background needs to be changed and if enough people express that in this topic, then it will probably get changed. Sorry for double posting anyway.

Actually, the way the new B.net is set up, you can change how the text boxes are displayed, on Windows at least.
Step 1: Right click on you desktop. Click on properties.
Step 2: Go to the Appearance tab, and set the Item box to Window.
Step 3: Change the color to the grey on the bottom right.
Step 4: OK.
I'd post screenshots, but I have a terrible upload speed.

Mourne not your comrades who must dwell / too strong to strive -
Within each steel-bound coffin of a cell, / Buried alive;
But rather mourne the apathetic throng / The cowed, and the meek -
Who see the world’s great anguish and its wrong / And dare not speak.

I took the liberty of making that screenshot for anyone who isn't quite sure where it is. (Also, I was bored.) Here you go.

It's nice, but it affects a lot more things that just the reply window. It'll work for some people, but others won't want to change everything just for this.

Well it didn't work at all for me, oh well...

Heh, probably should have mentioned that it affects all text fields. And that the instructions I gave are for Win2000.
Also, awesome background.

Yeah it is, isn't it. I just cropped it from a picture over at the NASA site, I think.

And, I messed up a bit. In the screenshot, I have the item set to Desktop. It's supposed to be window, like your original instructions. Oops.

Anyone going to post anything?

I couldn't post anything. The text box was blinding me.
