I've never had that problem on my HDTV. What kind of cables are you using?

Maybe it has something to do with the emulator that allows Halo 2 to work on the 360. Perhaps you have a glitch that occurs on an HDTV only with original XBOX games. Have you tried any other original XBOX games? If so, do you have the same problem?

Dude I know what you are talking about. I played halo on a standard def. tv for years before switching to a 1080i tv last week. Everything just feels...off.

Did you adjust your console or game video settings for widescreen? Maybe that has something to do with it.

Heh, I just switched to a HDTV (LCD projection) and have the same problem... Everything seems off, aimwise and playwise. When sniping, the aim of the crosshairs is slightly off, and like someone posted, there seems to be just a slight bit of lag due to the LCD.

I use the cable that came with the 360. I don't think it is the emulator or the fact that Halo 2 wasn't designed for HD... Two buddies of mine have 360's and HDTVs and they don't have the problem that I do. I am about to keep it on the HDTV and switch it to a non-HD mode and see if that changes things, as a test. Maybe certain HDTVs have the problem while others don't. Could it be projection vs non? Could it be LCD related? I dunno. It is something to look into.

it is the refresh rate on the lcd tv. They lag really bad. I hear that ones that have less 8ms refresh work good. I haven't tested this out though. Cheap lcd = crappy halo 2. It is like playing underwater. All the timing is sluggish and off..
