You mean theres an easier way than what i said?, I mean, i don't mod very often, In fact I hardly ever mod. So things like this don't bother me
I think he means to have an extra backup file (the map file you are modding), so after you get tired of the modded map, or is required to switch back, you can just replace the modded map with your original backup .map file.
Yes, you are right. But there is also an easier way then reinstalling the game, in order to get into the maps in the first place you have to get them from the disc, so just pop the disc in use winrar, and get them off the disc directly.
