Do you think Bungie added the Super Jumps on purpose because its really ironic how when I do a super jump, there is always something thats
made to walk on when you get higher? Another reason, why would Bungie put so much detail and craftsmanship to the out side parts of Multiplayer levels like Burial Mounds? Its not like when you are down on the ground you can see half of the work from up there?

Do you guys understand me?

from what bungie says, it was all a complete accident, and they weren't meant to be part of the game. they even said that its cheating (which i highly disagree with, but dont flame me on that), but to me, a lot of the superjumps, and barrier glitches just seem too much like they were meant to be there. Like the complexity of superjumping (crouching in a place, jumping on a certain spot, and some of them you have to either hold forward, tap forward before you land, tap A before you land, rapidly tap forward, etc.) just make it seem like it was on purpose. and how a lot of barriers, there is a small hole just large enough for a person, or spectre, to slide through, or particular ways to get through barriers.

and, as you mentioned, the outside of some maps are pretty detailed, though some, like headlong, you can see that the backs of buildings are "seethrough", but only in some areas.

that is exactly what to put, they do seem like they were made on purpose. Its funny and ironic

In Backwash, there's some mesage outside the map. It says, "It's getting pretty rough out here". Or something like that.

i agree...just like in backwash when you get out of the map there are big red words that spell "LOOKS A LITTLE ROUGH OUT HERE" so why would that be there if we wern't supposed to find it?

Maybe it is one of those annoying easter eggs that sometimes you can't find unless you are with a lot of people! There really is no point of being up there anyway, except just to find random things...

Yeah, it is true that there is too much detail up there. Hmm...makes no sense, Unless they want us to find it! But why would Bungie do that?

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

It was not intentional, its nothing more than a glitch.

Those "extras" that are scattered all over the place were put there for jumpers to find, but they had not intended the method for finding them be superjumping. There was a huge jumping community during Halo CE's heyday, where people had to be creative in order to get places. Its then a safe assumption that those easter eggs were put into Halo 2 so the jumpers this time around would know that Bungie thought what they did was amazing, and as a bit of a reward. But, people did not find all these creative ways of getting to hard to reach places in Halo 2 as much as they did Halo CE, because of the superjumping glitch.

Anyway, superjumping glitches discussions are not allowed on this site, because they are defined as "system manipulation" or which is defined as cheating according the the xbox Live ToU. The Bungie.net CoC and ToU forbids discussing or advocating cheating on these forums. Ergo, this thread is now locked.
