Major spoilers for some of you who never played it are in that review.
I'm going to have to agree with them, though, Halo 2 is extremely behind and nowhere near as innovative or as fun to play as Half-Life 2, or Far Cry. When I heard them mention "splash-damage monstrosities," I wasn't surprised. Halo 2 was made for the Xbox, mind you, and more, the game pad. Not built around the accuracy and precision of a mouse and keyboard, which is why it seems to be so easy for PC gamers who are used to playing harder games, such as Far Cry and F.E.A.R., also the game's visuals, gameplay, storyline, etc. pale in comparison with many PC games.
However, I can't believe they didn't bother reviewing the multiplayer, which, if I bet they played, would raise Halo 2 Vista's score considerably. The campaign was a disappointment; of course people are going to rate it mediocre at best if they only play that.
Bad music? Oh, boy, wait'll Marty O'Donnell hears about this...
