Someone posted last week that if his own teammates would give him crap or just being a general poor sport (usually telling him to quit), he would just start blowing himself up and thereby eliminate his kills. This would result in the poor sport learning a lesson in etiquette.
Tonight was my turn apparently to try out this technique. (With the rankings gone, there was no way to think I was trying to derank or anything). Anyways, just like the guy last week said--IT WAS AWESOME!
It amazes me you are on a team of 4 guys, and one of them has the balls to start yelling into his mic to his teammates "Quit! Just quit! Let me kill everyone! Just go hide! I'll kill them all I promise! Waaah! Waaaah! Waaaah!"
The truly crazy part is that this guy actually expected us to listen to him and quit. AND he is surprised to see that YOU are not letting him do what he wants. THEN after all his -blam!-ing to us perfect strangers he becomes surprised when we started LETTING the other team kill us and/or blow ourselves up!
Here is the BEST part...after ALL his insults and whining he ACTUALLY SAYS: "You need to respect this! Why are you doing that? You need to have respect!" OMG!
If you want to kill everyone yourself, then go play Rumble Pit and get out of the team games. You don't like that you are playing with people below your rank? Then YOU go quit! I waited just as long as you for the matchmaking to set up a game and I don't have time to restart MY match just to let some whiney guy try to intimidate a guy ON HIS OWN TEAM!
I think that is the great part about being older and having other interests (i.e. a life)...it puts perspective on the game. Yell all you want for me to quit. It ain't gonna happen--especially if it means that by not quitting you will lose a game. Poor behavior won't get rewarded.
