Got a pretty decent machine that should run H2 apart from my graphics card :(

I would love to go out & get a top of the range card but my problem is my PC is small form factor & will only take a LOW PROFILE graphics card, been looking round on the net the best low profile card I can find is a ATI X1300 Pro.

Can anyone suggest a better card (low profile only) or let me know if you think a x1300 would cope with H2V.

Cheers!

John

The X1300 sounds good enough.

What do you mean low profile? Sing slot cooling?

Half size of what? An 8800?
Well, this is a small card too, and should have better performance than a x1300 - X1650Pro

It means it's a half size/low profile PCI-e slot so I'm afraid something like a 8800 wouldn't fit :(

Gaming Systems:
Intel Core i7 720QM (4 cores, 8 threads)
4Gb DDR3-1333mhz
1Gb AMD Radeon HD 4650
Windows 7 64bit

Xbox 360 w/ 20Gb HDD (2008 edition) & XBL Gold.

Yes the X1300 will be powerful enough to run Halo 2 Vista properly, probably not at full settings, but reasonably. I'm afraid i don't know of any other cards that are that small, but more powerful than a X1300. I'd have a go at waiting for Nvidia to release their 8300GS/GT card models, as they are later this month i believe. A version of that card is bound to be LOW PROFILE and it will fully support DirectX10 too, which is something best to have with Vista :)

Thanks, hopefully they will release a small form factor version! I'll keep my fingers crossed for one!
