Ok i know this is really stupid, but I would really like to just know for sure. Is there a button on my controller that I need 2 push to talk with my headset, or will whatever I say be heard? And do both teams hear? Im sorry if this is dumb, but I just got Gold on my 360 and am just getting into playing Halo 2 online. Iv been playing on a LAN for years and never needed the communicator before now. Thanks so much!

Sure, on the XBL controller it is the white button. On the 360 it is the left bumper button.

Watch out. The community is littered with trash talking jerks.

Thanks. And yes, I quickly realized the talk. Some of those guys are intense, even when playing Team Training!! Not stoping me from playing but yikes, im happy my mom hasnt heard some of the things said through my headset ; ) I really wanta play in some ranked matches but dont have a mastercard and theres no chance of using my folks. If I bought one of those pre-paied visas would I just enter the info into my live billing info then, and just go into the game and download? How are the new maps anyways? I actually havnt heard very much feedback as far as if they are much fun or not. Thanks again

Pre-paid Visa card work fine just like you said. The new maps are really good but not that complicated like some of the other maps.

He's right with what he told you but just be careful, because when an enemy is close enough to you he can hear what your saying too. Just thought I would throw that out there for ya. Good Luck

Thanks guys!! When a player on the other team get close does his speech come through the TV speakers then, cause that happened once or twice. Oh and if its ok, id like to add you guys to my friends list. Im a bit low in that department at the moment. All in all iv been having lots of fun, but there are some really good players out there. Im used to playing with only 4 guys so this has been really intence. What advise would you give for umm, dieing less i guess. I find with so many players I often get shot at from behind. Whats the best thing to do to avoid this? Thanks again.

The new maps are ok. If you want, you can make it so other players' communication comes only through your headset if you don't want anyone walking by to hear someone swearing. Just go to your freinds list go to options and change communication to through headset only. And to stop dieing so much, just be careful and alert when moving around. Don't stand in one spot for a while (a few seconds at most unless you have a really good camping spot). As you turn a corner, look around for enemies. Don't keep power weapons out when searching for enemies because they will know how to kill you faster. Switch to the power weapon (i.e. sword, rockets, snipes) when you know you can get them.

Ok, got yah. So just be cautious and keep moving. I normaly try to just stick to BR and Shotgun if I can. One thing I know I have been haing a hard time with is grenades. Im normally pretty good but when Im in a firefight I somtimes throw a greade when I shouldnt and end up just getting gunned down :( Oh well, practise makes perfect! :) Thanks
