I am aware that making a sequel to game like this must be extremely hard, but I'm sorry to say, you failed. You guys took almost everything beautiful, unique, and special about this game, chewed it up, crapped it out, and spray painted it. First off, I cant stand the fact that if I get in a gun fight with someone and they hide for a coulpe seconds, they are as good as new. Secondly, I hate a majority of the weapons. The brute turd gun is for the most part worthless, the human and alien battle rifles suck, and of course the needler is still the best looking pink spikey stick Ive every swung at anyone! I might as well have a poodle by the collar slapin' people with it. Its like you thought the first Halo wasn't good enough, well, you are dead wrong. Halo was tens times the game this crap factory is. It had better levels, better weapons, and an all around better feel. As far as the campaign goes, I really wouldn't know. The only reason I stayed for 33 hours was for the multiplayer and I absolutely hate it. After waiting in line for 3 hours, and finally getting to play the game, I wasnt that impressed. Then I got a hold of the power sword, and everything felt good again. Then I got on X-box live and played some wannabe punks and beat them sensless. That all felt good, then the glitter started to ware off and all I could think was,"this game if freaking horrible." The setup for playing a multiplayer game on Live is horrible. The random levels and game types. I know you can party with people and all that, but I still think it sucks. For the last year, my friends and I have been getting together on Sundays to play Halo. I played it everyday for God knows how long when it came out, but we never had enough people. Then about a year later we picked up again and it was as good as the first time I played it. Halo had something special about it. It had a certain dazzle that made it stand out from any first person shooter out there, and now............its just another Unreal or Tribes or something. ITS NOT HALO ANYMORE. And as nerdy as this sounds, it really makes me sad. I truly loved playing Halo, I looked forward to each weekend with a gleam in my eye. And now theres nothing left. That sparkle is dead.
