I'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT THE IDEA OF DESTRUCTABLE VEHICLES FOR SOME TIME NOW. UNLESS THEY THEY MAKE AN OPTION TO CHOOSE IF YOU WANT DESTRUCTABLE VEHICLES OR NOT, I THINK HALO 2 WILL LOSE WHAT HALO WAS REALLY FUN FOR. IM TALKING ABOUT VEHICLES THAT ARE ROCK HARD AND WON'T BLOW UP. THE WARTHOG IS EASILY THE BEST VEHICLE ANY GAME HAS EVER SEEN, NOW WE WOULD HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE AGONY OF WATCHING IT BEING TORN TO PIECES, WHICH COULD BE A VERY DEPRESSING SIGHT OR A VERY FRUSTRATING SITUATION. TAKE THE POLL AND I WANT TO HEAR WHAT THE PEOPLE THINK AFTER READING THIS SHORT PARAGRAPH.

Just cause the paragraphs short, there's still no need to yell.
In other words: turn caps-lock off.

I'm just saying that they should make the destruction for vehicles optional just as a precaution just in case it doesn't turn out enjoyable for some reason.

nah but check this out, it would get annoying if the vehicle doesnt get destroyed... the game would get really really annoying since everybody would ber riding around a industructable warthog or a ghost just running everybody over.. that would completely suck for a enjoyable gameplay

Yeah, Rusty's right.
Everyone riding around in indestructible vehicles in Halo:C.E. got really annoying. That's why I don't ever play it anymore. At all. Ever. For, like, many moons now.
If destructible vehicles can be turned off in Halo 2, I'll be bored out of my -blam-ing mind. B-O-R-E-D.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is a tool called sarcasm, taken to its logical extreme.

how is everbody going to be run over with indestructable vehicles? the new boarding feature should prevent people from just running people over

If you loose a warthog in Campaign it might be gameover or a pelican will ring you another one i think

The new boarding option won't prevent people from running other people down--you have to approach a vehicle that's going a certain speed in order to board it. It's not going to be an automatic thing to avoid be run down.

But you dont get run over that much in Halo 1 anyway and now you can board vehicles youre going to get run over even less then before

yeah, its easy to dodge a warthog, but what you used to have to do was dodge untill the person died driving it or if he ran away, which sucked, now you can board it, when he turns around to come back at you and turn the tables sorta. I chose the option one, but i would probably have the destruction on...

out of interest, I know the vehicles will be easier to drive in Halo 2 apparantly, but anyone knows if they'll get damaged by inept driving cos otherwise my Warthog would have exploded so many times in rocky areas if they had it in Halo.
