Crysis isn't even out yet, but I'd rather play that over anything else on that list.

Shadowrun. I want to fight some Xboxers with my almighty Mouse/Keyboard.

Also, you forgot to add the greatest game that will every be released to that list. Spore.

Crysis looks awsome. However, Halo 3 will probably be good too.

Not many people would choose BioShock above everything else, I am aware of it's existence. Spore will probably be postponed a few hundred more times, so I won't even bother with that.

Gaming Systems:
Intel Core i7 720QM (4 cores, 8 threads)
4Gb DDR3-1333mhz
1Gb AMD Radeon HD 4650
Windows 7 64bit

Xbox 360 w/ 20Gb HDD (2008 edition) & XBL Gold.

I've never liked any of the Quake games, apart from Quake 3. I'm not sure about Shadowrun, but i'll give it a go. Crysis looks awesome and i will even be getting a DX10 capable PC just for it. But more than anything else, more even than Crysis, i want to see how Bungie ends it all, in Halo 3. I've played the first two games, i've read all the novelisations by Eric Nylund. There is a good chance i may even buy a Halo themed Xbox 360, along with Halo 3.

Same here, I <3 crysis. But HALO 3 wins it all.

Hello! Star Wars FTW. Also, join the MAW group. Please?

That was a tough decision. Crysis looks sweet, Halo3 is, well, halo 3, and I've been a fan of the Quake games for a long time. I actually think quake wars will be pretty sweet. The intensity of the Battlefield games combined wtih the sweetness of the Doom 3 engine. Shadowrun however, I don't think I could care less.

Funny how much commotion microsoft is causing through Shadowrun, and yet how few people care about it.

Crysis...

  • 05.17.2007 3:58 PM PDT

Slaying noobs since 2007.

I wouldn't mind any of those, I'm torn between three of them though, like Crysis has the greatest graphics known to man right now. Halo 3 will be the most epic of the Halos (and with a kickass multiplayer). Shadowrun will show consolers who is boss (us of course ;)! ).........

Bee Movie Game... hands down =D
But seriously, it's a toss up between Crysis and Halo 3.

It's a definite release for end of 2007. New videos are coming out (which make the game look almost completely done), magazines are getting interviews (this months GamePro), and Will Wright is too awesome to push it back once again.

Crysis for sure, Halo 3 would be a close second.

mrnick, he was talking about Spore, not Shadowrun. Two different games, two different release dates.

Spore

That's from the GDC of 2005. Here is a more recent video of Robin Williams playing around in the creature editor.

In 15 years, we will look back on Spore as fondly as we remember Super Mario Brothers or Legend of Zelda:LttP.
