First, please spell out words, that's painful to read. Finally, the playable demo wasn't meant to be played by eveyone, it was setup to showcase Halo 2's features. Take it a step further and you have to realize that Bungie is busy at work on the game. Is it really necessary for them to release a demo of a game that you know you are going to buy? Honestly, demos take time (and therefore money) to create, but it's worth it as a promotional material.
Halo 2, however, needs no extra hype. THAT'S why we haven't seen a demo, and we probably won't until close to the game's release - if not after.
btw - why would there be a demo of a game that (at the time) was over a year away from being released?
