Was just browsing on h2vista.net forums and saw that skyracer guy who released the h2v video say

"The glitches are dodge. I was able to macro them to my G15. Can double shot every time at the push of a button."

I tell you if this isn't fixed in the first patch thats releaed they can stick this game up their a$$ becasuse I won't be playing it.. BXR'ing, double shotting was the scurge on halo2 xbox and ruined the game for me

Game over before it's begun if it's true.

Heck, even HPC lasted longer than this!

People act like this will ruin the game. It didn't "ruin" the xbox version. And if you say it did, then stfu because you've been playing it for three years. The game will still be good, but not AS good as it could be. But the comunity will likely be so far up their ass that they're bound to release a patch. They seam more dedicated that gearbox.

It's not exactly good news that there's a whole load of glitches just waiting for any newbie to tap into. Besides, it'll be a lot worse than doing them on Xbox because it'll be a press of a button, literally.

how about u stfu and stop bein a -blam!-it i said the glitches ruined the game for me.. i didnt bxr, double shoot and do all that crap.. and when i constantly get killed by people who do, because their skill is inferior they actualy rely upon glitches to kill you, it does ruin the game for you and i guarentee if these glitches stay in H2V and you dont glitch it will ruin the game for yourself as well

This will obviously ruin H2V, it ruined the xbox version. Macro a double shot, lets see, click button, click button, dead. Click button, click button, dead. Rinse lather and repeat. Chances are this means that they fixed no glitches, which means that there are still superjumps, infinite shooting, etc. This is the worst port I've ever seen. I hope this game dies in a fiery hell.

The worst part about glitches is the message you get when you tell someone to stop...

"lol shu dafx up nub u just jelus of ma skillz!!!1!!"

or

"haha u suk cuz u cant even do it lololololol"

Could someone define what "glitches are dodge" means? What's dodge?

Perhaps it's a really strange way of saying "a piece of cake to execute". ;)

I have a G15 :D

BXR's, DB shots, quad shots. You name it.

Unfortunatly Quadshotting somebody now won't be considered good. You just aim and hit a button.

Fixed.
Seriously this is bull-blam!-, some hard work they put into it but what do you expect, bungie doesn't care,Hired gun is an underground thing as far as I know.
People who glitch and stuff except when messing with friends and stuff are -blam!-gets.

damn u make it sound all dramatic. wow.

but thats bull-blam!-, they cant do that to us. i mean if it stays in the game, i seriously will go get a g7 (i think thats the version without the led), or a g15 and save some keystrokes .)

in h2x, that was the one thing that might have taken skill to pull off, if u only have to pull a bxr off once to get it for eternity, then it defeats the purpose of the exploit. (lol, purposeful exploits is an oxymoron)

BXR is what made H2X what it is today. It's the reason nobody will pick up any other weapon. It's why the game -blam!- sucks. BXR doesn't take skill. No glitches take skill. I takes a few minutes to memorize the button combo. You know what does take skill? PLAYING THE GAME THE -blam!- WAY IT WAS MEANT TO BE PLAYED!

This same thing applies to backpack reloaders and double melee-ers. Stop the glitching and play the game CORRECTLY!

Okay, the back-pack reload takes no skill, but I don't mind some glitches as much as they do others because they're more about aiding you than antagonizing others, like the BXR. The double melee is fine, because it actually takes skill to do and pull off consistently.

The bungie.net community is the halo PC community that is renowned for being unbelieveably sucky.

This is so dumb I can't even believe it. Anyone who wants to play competitively is going to have to macro the button combos if they want to keep up with the next guy. There is no way you can prevent someone from doing it, so everyone has to do it.

I was interested in playing Halo 2 on the PC, but not like this. The question is whether Hired Gun can even "fix" the game, considering they HAD to have known about the glitches when they ported the game originally.

And if Bungie had actually been paying attention to what was happening with their game, maybe this could have been avoided. I mean, someone figured out how to macro the glitches on the first day, but Hired Gun or Bungie never thought of this? We even expressely said over and over in suggestion threads to remove these button glitches. Earth to Bungie? Anyone home?

Epic Failure.

If this is so then if someone does this and we notice, well, I plan to get very ban happy, and that's a promise.
