My Logitech controller that I use for Halo: CE on my mac is freaking out on me. Sometimes I will start to move foreword even if I'm not pushing up on my thumbstick, or I will continually strafe left.

Help?

The same thing happens on my XBOX 360 controller for Windows. THe joystick doesn't snap correctly to the center.

Its driver related, try to find newer drivers somewere online for your specific controller.

It is not drivers. It is actually true that the joystick does not snap correctly to the center. Look straight down at it and you will see a slight tilt.

Well it happens to me when I use my original xbox controller in halo pc, the y axis is a little more sensitive than the x axis. I think I can manually adjust it, but never took the time since it doesn't really bother me.

Yeah its not the drivers. The controllers run with high sensitivity so it reacts to almost anything.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

I get this sometimes with my Logitech Rumblepad. Try moving the sticks in complete circles a few times. Failing that, get the Logitech Profiler.

Gaming for fun.

I have this problem with wired XBOX 360 controller for Windows. I don't press anything but my game character moves still. This is so frustrating playing games like Trackamania, HaloPC (goddamn crosshair is moving itself and I move too! oh yeah moonwalk!) so I'd like to know is it just that I play PC games, or drivers, or my -!bLaM!- controller?
