I had already downloaded the new maps the first time, and they worked fine. When Bungie Patched them and said everyone needed to redownload them, I went to redownload and it said Purchase Failed.

Now, I only have like $2 in that card (I don't keep a lot of money on that card) but I've already been charged and it has shown up on my statement for the new maps from when I downloaded it the first time.

Everytime I launch Halo, I try to re-download the maps, but it keeps saying Purchase Failed even tho I have paid for them.

If it matters at all, the credit card is also linked to my friend's XBL GT because he didn't have a CC so I put mine on his account so he could download the new maps, he purchased them and they went through fine, but my bank doesn't show the charge yet (we did this 2 days ago)...

I am on an Xbox 1 and my friend has a 360

Any ideas? I've been reading through the forums, and I've read stupid advice like press the triggers and all the buttons right when it is downloading. If it is because I don't have another $4 on my card, I will deposit some cash tommorow, but it should be free the second time on the same console. If it is because it is linked to 2 accounts, then I will just put one of my other CCs on there temp so I can download the maps and switch back to my old CC

Really? I could've sworn that Bungie said it was for HALO 2 an original Xbox Game. If it was 360 Only, it would be in the marketplace... Why don't you go through the main bungie site..

Oh OK, They were supposed to be 360 only at a time, I didn't visit this page for a while so I could have missed some info about it.

The maps are for 360 and the original Xbox, that's why they weren't on the marketplace. I don't have an ansewer to your question then call 1-800-4MYXBOX although I doubt they'll be able to help either.

yah well iam getting an instilation of content failed message called xbox suport 1000000 times they dont even know why..... i had them b 4 the -blam!- update
