I don't know where you've been, but almost everyone has had the notion since Halo 1 that forerunners have something to do with humans or are ancestors of humans in some way.

Lots of well thought out stuff ther folks, well done

It would be good to see the other Spartans involved in some way. It would expand the threat of the conflict and maybe make the MC to be an even bigger hero if the one thing that makes him stand out is his succes.

Think the story has good potential for MC to partake in huge battles along side other Spartans (hmmm that D-pad has been put to good use in some good FP tacticals)

Also would be nice to see a story driven by a couple more characters. I know most consolers don't think they're required but they can make good rescue objectives (or even targets)

A few points.We need:

More human vehicles
More 'Earthy' LVLS
Bigger more chaotic battles

PS I prefer the Legendary setting in Halo 1 as opposed to Halo 2. In Halo 2 playing on Legendary makes the MC far too weak and feeble in comparison to his opponents (note how he has to dish out uncountable rds for every few he recieves) wich may be fine as a setting, but I miss the shear quantities of better AI beasties that occur in the first version.

Remember how not all trainees made it through the SPARTAN project¿? Maybe the ones who made it through to become full SPARTAN's(like John117 or MC). This could mean that the ones who made it through the program are descendants of the Forerunners...no clue though.

Given Bungie's penchant for religious themes... I would think that the "Arc" that could trigger the Halo's remote activation sequence could only be the Arc of the Covenant from our own Bible. Which would mean that the "Arc" is somewhere here on Earth. And who better to play the part of the future Indiana Jones, than good 'ole Master Chief!

And should Bungie staff members read this and say, "Hey now THAT'S a great idea, wish I'd thought of it sooner!" Feel free to pay me for my ideas!

My only complaints about Halo 2 are as follows: The Flashlight with it's own (faulty) AI. (Okay, it's dark, so I'll just turn on the flashlight and... CLICK ... Okay, so I'll just turn the flashlight back on again and... CLICK ... Okay, so maybe it will stay on for more than five seconds this time... CLICK. Okay, so I can't see in the dark).

No Night Vision on the Sniper Rifle. With the game as visually dark as it is? What the...?!?

The Grunts voice's have changed for the worse. In Halo, they were the highlight of the game. They brought a sense of humor to the game. In Halo 2? They sound like dumb crack addicted lobster-monkeys. "No see him." Will never be as good as Halo's "Everybody Duck!"

And although I enjoyed playing as the Arbiter, I would have enjoyed it much more if Halo 2 would of had every third level being played as the Arbiter. I came away from the game (especially the last level) feeling let down by not having enough Master Chief in the game.

That all being said, Halo 2 is one of my all time favorite games of all time.
