I can't find an option anywhere in my groups' Admin Settings (or elsewhere) with the option to delete the entire group. Any help with this?

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

Boot everyone in the group, and then leave it yourself. That will auto delete the group.

I think there should be another way of deleting it, especially if you have a lot of members. A big red switch to self destruct itself would be sweet.

If that ever gets implemented, there should be no way more than one person at a time can click it. Making it visible to that one person would be a good idea, come to think of it.

Perhaps there could be some kind of system to make up for when a full-control user leaves a group, without leaving full-control powers to any other member of the group. Most of the time, other members with the power to promote can simply promote each other in the group to full-control status, but there are some cases where leaders hold that privilege from their administrators.

The system auto-promotes a new admin if there isn't one after a few days.

And a group with a lot of members is in a sense owned by the membership, and a decision to dissolve the group shouldn't come from one person. Hence, you have to work at it to remove all the members first.

Except for me, I have a delete any group tool. :)

I must say, that is surprisingly clever and convenient.

Even so, leaders are always prone to simply abandoning their groups. It's a careless thing to do, but I've seen it happen before.

It happens a lot, and I have left groups, but I have always promoted someone else to be in charge. Leaving without promoting someone else is rude.

Oh, how I remember the ninja's group deletion tool. Apparantly a post in one called "The Collective" said something they didn't like, and the whole thing went. (strange how one post causes the whole group to suffer, isn't it?)

The ninjas have that tool, as well? I was under the impression that only Achronos had it.
