For everyone who already has H2V, it would be extremely generous of you if you could include some nice pics of the menus, loadscreens, gameplay, etc. I'm hoping to get the game, as soon as it becomes available, and am curious as to how certain aspects of the game have changed since Halo PC. I would especially like pics of the weapons and maps and such. I heard that bloodgulch was really messed up in Halo 2.

I've already seen those pics, and am interested in seeing how sharp the 512x512 texturing actually looks. Also, the menus are a little different than those on the xbox version. In addition, I am curious of how the games for windows application looks when joining halo games (notice i didn't say uno.)

The textures are not even slightly impressive.

Windows live looks exactly the same as Xbox live.

So you're saying that after Hired Gun spent months raising and adjusting the higher resolution textures, it looks about the same? That's just wrong, and I don't think I even need to go into why.

For windows live, are you saying that it looks EXACTLY THE SAME. I just don't see how that's possible. It might be, but highly unlikely.

Stupid parents let their stupid children play games that are rated M when they should be playing Big Birds Spelling Adventures

Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

1. The textures look a lot better than on the Xbox version.

2. GFWL is roughly the same interface as the 360 interface, but not the same.

If you want to see how upgraded the graphics and textures for Halo 2 vista are, then here you go:

Gamespot Halo 2 Vista to Xbox and Xbox360 Comparison :D

Textures are much sharper and a a lot higher detailed, polygon counts are always at their highest, and the textures such as environmental and normal mapping in the distance look drastically improved!

I never said it's exactly the same. I said it's not at all impressive.

In regards to the Gamespot article. Does anyone actually have an account there? I would like to see the Hi-Def version of the video, but can't find it anywhere. The low rez, makes the two games almost appear identical.
