Ever since i got Halo2 in 2005, there has been one thing that has really ticked me off. Lagging out. Whenever someone in my house picks up the phone, or calls someone, I go into bluescreen. When I come out of bluescreen it says everybody has quit, and the game ends. 2 minutes later it says, "cannot connect to Xbox live" Then I have to wait 5 minutes to get back on. The worst part is, is when I lag out of MM, my rank goes down. Does anybody know how to fix this problem???

Are you on a wireless connection? Or is it just because of your DSL connection?

Get a better provider if possible. But wait... If someone picks up the phone and you go into the blue screen, does that mean that you're playing over dialup? If that's the case, then you shouldn't have Live at all.

That happens to me too.

I called my DSL company and asked why it's doing that and they said thy were going to update it.

They never did <<

And my mom doesn't have enough money for Comcast High Speed so i'm stuck with this.

It's because your connection is direct connected to the phone line so whenever sum1 picks up da phone it disconnects you from the game. What u need is 2 buy a router so you can be on the game and phone at the same time

If you have a wireless router with a wireless adapter some cordless phones can cut off the routers signal as tyhey both communicate on the same frequency. the only thing to sort this is to buy a new router or phone as they need to operate on different frequency bands. Hoipe thaty helps.
