An army of sheep led by a lion would defeat an army of lions led by a sheep.
I completely disagree. Stick to making weapons.
When most gamers think about 4 player co-op, they think about it in relation to Halo.. But this isn't Halo, it's Halo 2. In my opinion, Halo 2 should be open ended out the mother -blam!- wazoo!
If I were making Halo 2.. Halo and Silent Cartographer would be just 10% of one level in Halo 2. Every other linear level would pretty much be scrapped. I'd add stats to single player just because.. Socoms single player sucked.. But the only reason I kept playing it was to see if I could "Ace" a level with my unit. You make levels open ended, and you could change the way everybody plays the game. Some players might split up, and go for uber fast completion time.. Others may stick together to see if they can complete Legendary with no deaths.
I wonder if it would be too easy without healthpacks?
Anybody here participate in the Ninja Gaiden Tourney? I wonder if they could have a Halo 2: Master Chief Tournament? My Unit would so kick your units ass, b'yotch.

This would be absolutely horrible. There's a reason why they turn off the extra graphical effects in multi-player.
The simple truth of it is, four players equals twice as many polygons to draw. Twice as many polygons to draw means half as many enemies, maybe even less.
Twice as many players, half as many enemies equals ONE QUARTER of the CHALLENGE.

If the coop was going to more than 2 it would need to be 3. It is the only practical number, mostly for use in vehicles. Warthog and (educated guess) the Shadow will have 3 seats so the (if there was 4) 4th person would be left behind and it would be no fun for them
