Halo 2 should DEFFINANTLY have four-player Co-op. Especialy if you could wear red armor and have a flying monkey aid you when you're at need with his pea-shooting fly trapper!!!

My god yeah, that would be good.

I play RS3 on LIVE all the time and occasinoally i turn to co-op, it's soo cool being with actual talking ppl instead of a squad of bots.

I would like that, but if they do then they should put 4 times as many enemies for when you're doing that. And if you're using three people, then have 3 times as many enemies. That way, everybody gets a piece of the action and it's not super easy. There have been many times when I was at my friend's house and there were 4 people (including myself) who all just wanted to play co-op, but we couldn't.

I think its a good idea, but the SP but way to easy, legendary on halo 1 was easy enough with 2 players, but with 4.

do you realize how hard they would half to make it for a 4 player co-op game, legendary would not be possible with single player

Well they do have Troop transports now, so it'd be an awesome idea if they just made a 4 player co-op. It'd be good practice for those of us starting H2 clans, to work as a team and whatnot. They'd have to significantly up the difficulty level for the four player co-op, so that we would still have a legendary that would be beatable in single player, to make something like that though.

This would be absolutely horrible. There's a reason why they turn off the extra graphical effects in multi-player.

The simple truth of it is, four players equals twice as many polygons to draw. Twice as many polygons to draw means half as many enemies, maybe even less.

Twice as many players, half as many enemies equals ONE QUARTER of the CHALLENGE.

If the coop was going to more than 2 it would need to be 3. It is the only practical number, mostly for use in vehicles. Warthog and (educated guess) the Shadow will have 3 seats so the (if there was 4) 4th person would be left behind and it would be no fun for them

An army of sheep led by a lion would defeat an army of lions led by a sheep.

I completely disagree. Stick to making weapons.

When most gamers think about 4 player co-op, they think about it in relation to Halo.. But this isn't Halo, it's Halo 2. In my opinion, Halo 2 should be open ended out the mother -blam!- wazoo!

If I were making Halo 2.. Halo and Silent Cartographer would be just 10% of one level in Halo 2. Every other linear level would pretty much be scrapped. I'd add stats to single player just because.. Socoms single player sucked.. But the only reason I kept playing it was to see if I could "Ace" a level with my unit. You make levels open ended, and you could change the way everybody plays the game. Some players might split up, and go for uber fast completion time.. Others may stick together to see if they can complete Legendary with no deaths.

I wonder if it would be too easy without healthpacks?

Anybody here participate in the Ninja Gaiden Tourney? I wonder if they could have a Halo 2: Master Chief Tournament? My Unit would so kick your units ass, b'yotch.

That would be nuts, its kindof like that desert storm game where you can play 4 player co-op split screen. the game sucked but good idea. they would have to make a special kind of mission mode for a 4 player co-op too. like that one guy said it would be way to hard, for single player legendary

Well, I'm mainly speaking of Xbox Live. I think split screen gaming is overrated a bit, but that's just me.. As others of have said, sacrifices have to be made when you have four players playing on just one machine (Xbox). Three or four clients playing in a server could work.. Maybe.

Am I the only one that likes open ended games like Grand Theft Auto? I know 7 million or so other people like the game too, but I wonder how an open ended game like that would play out in the Halo Universe. 20,000 lines of dialogue is a -blam!- load of talking.

Yeah, on my team I'd have one meleer, one shield killer, one flesh ripper, and one grenade tosser, or something like that. Gamers would really be freaking out if there weren't any healthpacks. And I didn't see any in the e3 demonstration.. but it was just a demo.

Why not? If you couldn't complete Legendary without health packs, then play Heroic. If you couldn't complete Heroic without health packs, then play Normal. And if you couldn't complete normal without health packs, then play on Easy.

Find a co op partner.. There's your health pack.
