Deliberate feature? Unintended glitch?

You decide:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=2VgARb2KwVU

Footage recorded at 576 x 360 (half 1152 x 720) so it might look squished on youtube, only uploaded then, havn't watched it yet.

Also, I wasnt recording, but on beaver creek, I got the sniper, jumped off sniper spawn, hit the ground and died. Could this be related to the attempted removal of superjump (aparantly you can still superjump, but as of yet I've not tried to)

Fall damage on some surfaces...?

Halo 2 on Xbox does not have fall damage

The quad shot is a really annoying glitch for noobs that let's you exploit the shoddy game code to fire off four rounds all at once.

Yes, Halo 1 has fall damage all around. Halo 2 is not supposed to.

That's cool but is it always when you jump so high ? When you jump so high it must disable shields like it , so its realistic. But in Halo 1 , the master chief is cyborg , supersolider , with heavy suit , well maybe it still gets that damage correctly but it Halo 2 , the armor is more powerful , so it give no fall damage from higher places.. but in that video seen , that realistic :)

No halo 2 does have fall damage. The MJOLNIR V has been upgraded so that you most likly will not die from large falls but you can stil get hurt.

Weird , it only showed that 'supersolider' was spelled wrong ( it give lines under words which are wrongly spelled .)But anyways let's not discuss this anymore.

So typical here anymore. Hey, even though we can understand it perfectly, let's just post on this thread about one persons grammar. I mean, I can understand if someones grammar is REALLY bad, but in this case, it was just lame to comment on such a stupid thing.

Not sure what to think on this fall damage. I don't have the game yet, but hopefully they get these inconsistency's taken care of with an update.

What it is.

There definitely is fall damage for some reason. I launched up the lift on Colossus and landed at the bottom, and it said i committed suicide. Personally it;s kind of cool, but it's odd that they would change that in the PC version.

Even more strange that a lot of the bugs from the Xbox version just went unnoticed...
