Xbox connect is when you link two Xboxes (Weird.....) together on sepearte TV's and play. It's free once you get the equipment, but I don't know what you have to get.

VIPER!!! that guy is wrong, he is wrong, xbc is another way u can play xbox live games, or any game practically, on the internet with other ppl, not when u connect 2 xboxs, thats system link, here is where u can find out more about xbc, gawd dumb guy had no idea what he was talking about, i dont understand why some one would say something like that, and he has no idea him self.

xboxconnect is pretty fun, but i have xbox live so its not even close, but its better then nothing, u can play halo online too, with xbc, but when u do, look for rooms that are being hosted in ur state, or near by states, cause the lag can b outragous sometimes. playing halo on xbc keeps me busy for hours at a time, its a lot of fun b able to play with other ppl instead of just ur friends that live near u, and helps to b able to show ur skillz.

XBConnect is actually a way to play any system link game over the Internet. It works by fooling your Xbox into thinking that it is on a LAN. You need to connect your Xbox to your PC, and then your PC to a modem.

Help and the program can be found at http://www.xbconnect.com. There is a free version and a paid-for version.

You do need a router, to hook the kbox up to your pc while it is connected to the internet (if you have dsl) but if you have 2 lan cards, you can hook it up to one of those, or if you have dial up and a lan card you can hook it up to the lan card. Basically, it just needs to be connected to the computer so the xb connect program can fool it.
