Does anyone get that horizontal video tearing occuring on their system? it seems h2v is a lot less supportive than halo 1, probably because of the xbox port but none the less its annoying, got a 8800GTX so it cant be a video limitation. Post any help or problems you may have, thanks!

Well, I never get horizontal tearing on Halo PC and I always run No Vsync simply because its the best option. Maybe you have too high of a refresh rate. Mine goes to 85 hz max at 960x720 resolution and that works just perfectly fine for me; no horizontal tearing whatsoever. Of course, I do have a 17" CRT Monitor.

Its not a GPU limitation it is a monitor limitation. Horizontal tearing occurs when the framerate exceed the refresh rate of the monitor. Your going to want to turn Vsynch on and set your refresh rate to what it says in your monitor documentation.
