For some reason all my death animations seem scripted...The same with everyone else that I see die too. I remember on the xbox halo 2 had ragdoll physics on death in the multiplayer...but H2 V doesnt. Anyone else notice this?

However in H2V singleplayer MC has ragdoll physics.

On Halo 2 xbox, ragdoll is disabled with more than eight people in the game, maybe that has something to do with it.

dunno, with how much of a dissapointment it seems to be I wouldn't be surprised if they did. Great game, but still improvements that could have been made that could potentially ruin the game's hype and fun for everyone.

I wouldnt say the game is a dissapointment...it's just so much they couldve done to improve the game. the only benefits are that it looks a bit better, K/M support and dedicated servers.

It seems thats the case because all Ive been playing is matches with 10+ people in it and no ragdolls. I just played my first 3v3 match and sure enough it had ragdolls.

Whats funny is I posted a thread wondering if the Ageia PhysX processor would be of use and everyone said there isn't hardly any physics in this game. My question now is do you people have any clue what physics is?... Obviously not.

Wow, yeah, bodies flying around after you throw a grenade at them really affects the necessity of a dedicated physics processor and the absence of being able to bounce dead bodies around is severely detrimental to gameplay. Let's just ignore the technical limitations and the fact that there is no need of a PPU for a game with simple physics like Halo 2.

The only time when a PPU would really matter is when it affects the core gameplay--take Cellfactor, for example.

Fail.
