exactly. Now, like I was saying, a small fee isn't going to hurt the average gamer. Note that the average gamer is the target consumer for MS and such. MS might be changing the pc into something some might not like, but as I stated before, LIVE is directed towards the average gamer.

IMO though, the average PC person is someone that buys their computer from BestBuy or something (no offense to anyone). The average PC gamer I would say has a custom built PC or one specifically meant for gaming, and to be honest, many of them don't want to pay for things like this. They are used to having free, lagfree gaming. With H2V, you have a game that has Vista and a semi-decent video card as a requirement... Not many computers that you buy from BestBuy would run H2V the way it should be. IMO, they are making a mistake trying to force this down the regular PC gamers throat... As being one, I would say I don't like it, but since I already have a subscription, I don't mind too too much.

I'm saying it seems quite like my PC will be turned in to an Xbox 360. Why does the interface assume i'm using a 360 pad?

Yep, that sucks. I'm determined to not buy a single games for windows live game until they figure out I don't want a console game I want a PC game.

That is the most retarded thing I ever have read in my life.

Ohh I see you have your fatty fan club! You're like people who argue that playing halo is better with a controller than a mouse. You're actually part of the problem since you don't care about throwing money for no reason.

Ok.... I actually prefer k+m, which I must say is unrelated to the topic, and it's not my problem there are fee's, if it's in my price range, I don't mind.

Ok there Mr. Capitalism. Eisenhower would've loved you.

Short from giving in, do you have anything intelligent to say, or are you going to go on with your spoon-fed economically-conditioned sayings and thought process? You'll just have to excuse me, but I don't believe BS.

I happen to think you're over reacting to this whole thing. I don't really think trying to flame me is intelligent, so maybe you should state some more reasons on why you think this is a big problem.

Honestly, don't go crying wolf when there's only a sheep. This isn't flaming. You want flames? Go to the Facepunch forums. This is kiddy stuff for this board.

This isn't an overreaction; this is called a reaction. You'll have to excuse me, but I'm a firm believer in not giving in and not conforming to what is offered. Doing so means Microsoft has succeeded in the market department and know how easy it is to will us to do/buy something. Go read 1984 some time; the Proles are the key, but the Proles will never band together to overthrow Big Brother. The same goes for the masses of today. If they did, though, they could change the whole market economy, even down to Microsoft's policies and fees.

note how I said TRY to flame. I know this isn't flaming, but I'm just saying, make a list of all the negatives, or something like that.

Slaying noobs since 2007.

Off topic: I just played STALKER and it was pretty nice, who else thinks so?
Oh and about the topic at hand, yes the corporations of today has flooded the minds of their consumers, just like something else we've heard of......... next thing you'll tell me that Bill Gates had Bus Stop software developed for Vista as a part of his plan to take over the world.

Ditto man. If you guys just bend over and accept whatever is thrown at you then you've lost. We need to stand up and tell them what we want and what we'll accept, not have them tell us.

And Poncho, I think you're misunderstanding. It isn't about the money dude, it's that were getting charged for things we have never had to pay for before, things that were always free for us to use. Imagine this: tommorow, every public bathroom in the world will cost 2 dollars each time you want to use it. It's a bad example, but it's kinda the same thing. People wouldn't stand for that, and we shouldn't stand for this.

Are we going to argue sensibly, or are you going to throw out the extremities and conspiracy theories of things like a typical politician does when he has nothing to counter the argument at hand?
