1. Why did you decide to make the shotgun more powerful from a further distance? I have a saved video where I was at least 15ft away and was killed with one shot - that's ridiculous.
2. What's the deal with needler? The auto-lock + damage has made the needler way too powerful. The needler and spiker should be equal, but they are not.
3. Why are there so many horrible whiny little girls who don't know how to play in the beta? (oh, it's cus they whined to their mommy's long enough so that they would buy crackdown for them) - and why did you allow entry through Crackdown anyways? Being part of the Rule of 3, I felt honored to be chosen for the beta, like I was part of some secret society or something. Now you just have a bunch of morons playing who could care less about the beta/testing phase and more about being little whiners with nothing else better to do.
4. Why are the rockets / missle pods so friggin weak? Also - why does the missle pod suck so much? The only time I have actually blown up a vehicle is when it was 20 ft away headed straight at me. Anything else, and the "missles" turn into exploding peas that do no damage. I've even tried the suggested "aim up / away" technique to avoid obstacles, but all this seems to do is make the missles even dumber and they just fly straight into the first object they see. If the warthog / mongoose are going to be so hard to blow up, at least give us a weapon that will blow them up with 1-2 shots, not 8 + 2 stickies + land mine + 3 guys shooting at the driver + the laser shooting the guy out of the turret. The laser does it in one shot, why can't the human weapons do the same thing to the HUMAN vehicles??
5. Seriously, why can I never hear anyone talking? To this day, I have only heard one other player with a mic, and it was a guy from my friends list. Otherwise, and I am NOT exagerating (sp?) , I have not not seen a single person in the game with a mic. Why is this? I have had problems in Halo 2 such that I have to unplug / plug back in my mic and then I can hear my teammates, I've tried the same thing in the beta, but to no avail. Why is this? I can say on my end it's extremely aggravating feeling like I'm talking to the wall. Also - can my teammates not hear me?? There has been numerous times where I've yelled a persons GT/ call sign to tell them to stop running because they are about to run over my land mine, yet these monkeys just keep running like they can't hear me and run right into the land mine... if i warn them a billion times about it, I should not get the betrayel because they are too f-ing stupid to look where they are walking or to even pause when they hear the obvious beep of a nearby land mine.
6. Speaking of land mines, why do they take so long to become active? I have had numerous times where I was being chased, laid the land mine right in front of me, and my attacker just ran right over it before it was active - this should be fixed.
7. Why are so many of the weapons on an automatic respawn timer (instead of when the weapon is empty/dropped)? Why did you change this? This just seems like you're rewarding campers with this - just finished a game where the other team on high ground had 2 snipers - how is that fair when there is only 1 sniper spawn on the map to begin with?
8. Why did you increase the radar range? Again, seems to me like you want to reward campers - they just sit in a high spot and can see everything going on around for 50 ft. - the radius is just way to large.
9. Why did you set games to start automatically? There have been numerous times when I thought I had backed out only to come back 5 minutes later to find out I'm in the middle of a game. This is poor judgement for two reasons: 1) the reason I just mentioned and 2) for the de-rankers out there who get their gigglies out of it, all they have to do it start the game, set their controller down and come back 4 hours later deranked to the max. BS- don't reward them, make it harder on them, boot them, install a virus on their xbox., send some smelly poopy cheese to their house, turn their cat into a grunt.. i don't care, just don't make it EASIER for them to do it.
EDIT: 10. I forgot this one - what is the deal with headshots and the br/sniper? For example, last game I was in, the other team had a zombie (iE guy that wasn't playing) - standing still not even moving. I took out my br, lined up my shots, waited for the dot, and it still took 4 bursts to kill him. With the sniper, I've noticed that in order to get a clean headshot you have to aim ABOVE the person's head, this makes no sense unless you are taking into account gravity / distance / wind, but you shouldn't have to aim up EVERY single time.
A.Part 2 to this question, why was the covenent br made so much strong and the human br made weaker? You can easily kill someone with covenent br within 3-4 seconds, yet BR is AWLAYS at least 4-5 seconds.
11. Why doesn't the mongoose have any weapons even though it's covenent counterpart (IE the ghost) does? I know you can't carry two people on the ghost, but still. I'm the best mongoose driver west of the mississippi, and I want a way to kill people when I'm driving around by myself since splatters are next to impossible (although I did get one splatter on high ground with it). Also - staying on the mongoose, why is it so top heavy? It's nearly impossible to get a clean launch in the mancannon with it, and i've had numerous times when I started to do a flip/barrel roll, only to be screwed by the gyroscope gods that think it's funny to stop it upside down. This happense WAY too much for it to be a fluke - the warthog should be more top heavy than the mongoose, yet I've managed to do triple backflips / barrel rolls and land wheels down in the hog, but have yet to land even a single flip wheels down in the mongoose.
A. Also - what's the deal with the map geometry on valhalla? There's been numerous times that I've made the jump (both in the hog and mongoose) from the turret by the bubble shield to the center hill, landed perfectly, yet when I hit the ground I bounce backward. I have only had one clean jump there, and it was when I went on the weaker right side jump instead of the larger kicker by the turret. This is frustrating when I'm flying from one side to the other expecting to zoom right by the guys in the middle, only to get stuffed on my landing and taken from 80 kph down to 0. (Let alone the fact that the landing is uphill so the acceleration is muddled as well)
Please don't get me wrong Bungie, I love the game, I just wonder about some of these changes.
