Will we be allowed to play custom games before the beta is over?

How many maps will be released with the full game (estimate?)

Why does the needler not have dual weidling? I liked it better dualed, even if it was weaker.

may we please, pretty pretty pretty please, with hot, powdered sugar chicks on top, be able to play just one more map before the Beta ends? i don't even care if it wont be in the final game or not .

I dont think I've ever even noticed who won MVP of a given game.

Post match Id like to check out the stats of the game (and see how badly I did... boy I suck!) but I'm given 20 seconds before I'm thrust into another game. Need more time please... make this a setting please.

After you die, you can cycle through the names of your teammates, at the bottom of the screen. However, all this does on my screen is move the camera back a few clicks. What is the point of this?

Question, it seems that meleeing someone ranges now from about 5 feet or so. Does it have to be that far of a dash foward? Thats my biggest complaint is that meleeing someone can be done from a good amount of distance with little effort. Love the beta though and wheres the Enforcer?? lol

How does the RP system work? Why when someone quits a game does the screen go black and kick you out of the game?

What I want to know most is how much more can we expect from the final game?
I know we are rather limited on what we have in the beta, but HOW limited?
How many maps, weapons, equipment, game types, custom options, medals, graphical improvements, etc etc, are there missing from the final game?

You guys are feature complete, and are just working on bug fixing (and maybe asset improvements) at this stage, so its not like this info isn't known, its just whether or not you want to let us know right?

I'm not looking for specifics here, I know you want to keep surprises (as I want to be surprised), but something like:
"The beta is just a taste of the final games multi player experience. With custom match options, nearly a dozen weapons, equipment, and vehicles you don't know about, and more character customization options; you can expect a lot more when the game ships this September. Not to mention the amazing story that signals an end to trilogy we wanted to tell. There are also a few small, but very noticeable graphical improvements that we have made, all in all, you are going to thoroughly enjoy what we have to offer."
Thats some great PR work right there... you're welcome to cut and paste that if its all true :)

1. I can't splatter anyone using the mongoose, what gives?

2. You said before that you would be paying attention to what gametypes/maps are getting vetoed the most. What trends have you noticed so far, and should be expect any new additions or subtractions from the beta?

I get booted to the player roster (upload) screen where I remain frozen in pretty much every BTB game and sometimes in rumble matches. Am I doing something wrong (besides sucking)?

are you changing the BR??? as it was on H2 because the new one is nice looking but completely worthless against a carbine
are the graphics are going to improve??? because to be honest i was expecting better graphics
the KotH wall will remain the same because its impossible to see though ti specially on high ground-bunker 2

1) Are you aware of the nasty suicide calls when it comes to being killed at times? It does not happen consistently but there are instances where you are assigned a suicide and it is not deserved.

2) Is there any kind of posted listing as to all the possible rankings awarded for the RP? I also noted that this was tweaked when you released the BTB into the beta.

3) The bubble shield can be a bit sketchy as well. Sometimes your "forcefield" boundaries are not quite right. Has that been approached?

4) Is there any conformation on online co-op for the campaign (sorry for the non beta question but had to ask) ?

5) Has standby been addressed? I ask because out of about four hundred rounds online (took vacation time to play beta) I have only been subjected to serious lag a few times. All of which my team lost. Again for the most part the beta is pretty damn lag free.

6) When in matchmaking and you have a large spread between your highest and lowest numeric ranking, the game seems to have an issue finding games to play. Is this to be expected in the full version? Thirty thousand plus players on and it took more then five minuites to find a match on several occasions. Perhaps my dumb luck?

7) In the full version, as a party can we view a movie? Exactly how much more control of the movie can we expect to gain? I.E. Other players views, camera angles etc etc..?

Thank you Bungie for once again bringing the taste for the enemys throat back!

Are there any surprises (any at all) reserved for the last weeks of the beta?

I've heard people say the rocket launcher, spartan laser and brute shot have an increased melee lunge, is this true?

Here are my questions:

1. Is the final version of Halo 3 gunna have better graphics than the Beta? I want to be prepared because the first time I started up the Beta I soiled my self.

2. Why at times when sombody dies I hear Mario yelling? Or am I just hearing voices?

3.Why is the needler so powerful?

4. What do you plan do to about the dreaded Noob-Combo(BR&Plasma Pistol); or do you feel that it is just apart of the Halo gameplay, and we should deal with it?

In order for people to hear you, you have to hit up on the D-Pad when you are talking, that sound gets really annoying after a while. A lot of people keep asking questions about why things aren't included. in the Beta, that were in Halo 2. I think the most obvious answer is that it is a Beta. In the loadup screen, it says that it is just a taste. If they show us everything months before the game comes out it would ruin the excitement. Also, on booting de-rankers, people would undoubtedly abuse a system that allowed them to boot people off of their team. And you don't have to mute everyone at once, I know, because I've done it. Quitting out does subtract Rp, but 1 point, seriously you can't just go play a game and get that 1 point back? personally i'm glad the carbine is more powerful, it takes more skill to get off a lot of shots with a semi-automatic weapon than it does with a Burst-fire weapon. And the SMG is amazing, in close quarters combat, nothing else stands a chance because of its high rate of fire. Spike Grenades are amazing.

Gametypes are different this time around, which is better for some, but not so great for others. Shotty Snipers is fun on maps like Valhalla, but on smaller maps like snowbound and High Ground, all kids do is run around with the Shotgun. Personally, I can get melee attacks in quicker than most, but with the inclusion of the shotgun, its a useless skill with the sniper rifle now. Territories however, is much better in Halo 3 than it was in Halo 2. The attack and defend scheme is amazing.

Howdy. I run a ranking information site at http://samcooler.com/ranks/index.htm. Along with several other people, I have been trying to figure out the rank assignment algorithm. What is that algorithm? Are there more inputs than RP and MM skill?

Please help, as I have been trying for some time to figure this out. I can only imagine the bungie employees who made the system looking at my site and laughing at my erroneous assumptions.
