I don't know how many people have noticed it, but in halo 2 with regards to radar, if the person was above or below you, basically not on the same level as you, the red dot was faded and not as bold, but when they were on the same level as you, the red dot was more distinct. This helped me mind my surroundings better and let me know if that person was above or below, or on the same level as me. I noticed with the halo 3 radar, its not the case. Regardless of where the enemy is (below, above, or on the same level), the red dot is always the same. I was just wondering if that was done on purpose or what? I think the halo 2 radar helped people mind their surroundings better.
