I don't know what the hell is wrong with some peeps PCs. I have had the game for over a week(thanks to circuit city) and I play it maxed out at 1920x1200 resolution. Runs flawless in game and cut scenes. I have a Pentium D 3.4ghz, ATI xtx1900 512mb, 4 gigs of ddr2, and a 24 inch Dell monitor. I have the latest drivers for everything. I didn't even have to dis-able vsync. The only problem I have is trying to figure out if I like to play with the k/m or xbox360 controller. I can switch between the two instantly. I seem to own more with the controller. Maybe cause I'm so used to playing halo 2 on the xbox.

A respectable machine, to say the least. I think you use the Xbox controller more not because you've played with it frequently on the Xbox, but because the mouse and keyboard controls aren't as good.

Figured I would see if anyone is still having problems in multiplayer...I'm getting lower FPS and eventually it will crash (similar feel to a memory leak) only in the multiplayer. I tried creating a personal network game and joining net games but I still get the same issues. Running E6600, 2Gb 6400, 8800gts, xfi... Needless to say every other game that I have ever run can be maxed out without any bugs or framerate degradation. Since the single player works perfect I am stumped. I haven't read anything on the boards that I haven't already tried but I thought I would post and hope someone could give me something new to test.

thanks,

I got the game about 2 weeks ago. It ran fine in both single and multiplayer up until yesterday. Now, when I go into a server for multiplayer the game gets massive slowdown. And worse, continues to run this way even when I leave the server and go back to the main menu or single player. This has got me quite frustrated.

that is exactly what happened to me! ran great for one night. The next day I woke up and now I get massive slowdowns. I tried completely removing the game and starting over to no avail. finally someone with the same problem...wonder what it could be?

So far, I haven't had many problems with H2V.

My Vista machine specs:
P4D 3.4GHz, 3gb Crucial Ballistix DDR2 800Mhz Ram, BFG nVidia 7950 GT OC 512MB PCIe, Seagate 250GB SATA-2 (3gb/s) game drive on an Intel D975XBX2 mobo.

Running the game currently at 1280x1024 with no AA and medium textures. According to FRAPS, I average between 75 and 90 fps, depending on large or small maps). At 1024x768 and high textures, I'm averaging between 95 and 125 fps. I have noticed some slow down in various campaign mode maps, especially where there's a lot of particle effects, but, oddly enough, shutting down the sidebar in Vista before launching the game seems to have taken care of slow down problems I've had.

For folks with less than 2gb of RAM trying to play, I'd strongly recommend shutting down the sidebar and any gadgets. They do take up a good bit of resources and if you have a lot of gadgets that update frequently, you might see negative network performance as well (gadgets which update use RSS feeds and have to connect to update, etc, etc).

I have the game but not Vista (Aint got enough RAM), I have a P4 1.6GHz (BOO), An FX 5500 (SUPER BOO), and 256MB of RAM (Let's all start laughing shall we!!!)

But when I get a spec that runs Vista I wanna play the game, what's the minmum specs? (I don't care if the game runs slower than a snail in a jungle of grass, I just wanna play)

Oh and let me just finish with a funny comment!, My mates got 6gigs of RAM (AHHH!!!!!), he Ran out of Virtual Memory when rendering on Poser.
EDIT: (he has an extra Gig cached on HardDrive)
