http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_93.71.html

First off, I'm not sure if my graphics driver is up-to-date. How can I check to see to this?

Secondly, as the link above shows, that's the current driver for XP&nVidia users. Should I d/l this driver? Usually, I wouldn't hesitate, and once I find out whther or not I already have this driver, I would download it, but this is 61mb. I currently only have about a Gig of space left on my HD...is it worth it? My games are working smoothly enough, but if this driver will improve performance and etc...

So, do you guys recommend I get this for the cost of 61mb of space? Or should I just use my graphics card as it is (because it's working fine...).

Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity

Are you asking about Halo 1? if so yeah, download the driver if you have an Nvidia card and XP installed in your machine.

If it is Halo 2 you are speaking of, then the answer is NO. I'd like to point out the rather obvious fact the driver you mention is for XP and Win2k only; and Halo 2 for Vista is, well, VISTA EXCLUSIVE. The latest NVIDIA driver for Vista is 158.18

Well the version listed there is 93.71, you can check what version you have by just going to the properties on your desktop. (Settings Tab, then Advanced, then Nvidia tab.) ForceWare version will be listed there on the Nvidia tab. I play Halo 1 PC, and I got it, wasnt really noticable on performance changes, though that really depends on last time you updated it. Either way, updating to latest driver would be a good idea..

"I currently only have about a Gig of space left on my HD"

Nice, me as well.

Cool thanks. And thanks, the guy above Quantum. Although it was obvious I was talking about XP...xD

Well, it seems I don't have the current driver, but I don't mind at all. Like you said, there is harldy any noticable performance raise, and my graphics card with the driver that I have is running very, very well. So until I get a new HD, I won't get this.

Thanks guys.
