What you said is the norm. But sense you brought that to our our attention we no reailze how uncool we've made the planet. Everone knows that, but we like to forget it in order to live our lives and serve our purposes. Also, you're not even being original. Jease! Then again, I liked complaining. Maybe your purpose is to appease the easily moved and to give people liek me someone to rant about.

I must ask you to leave your attention seeking tendencies on the main page.

EDIT: And do you have any proof to back up your statement? How is Liton not being original? I promise I will never say another thing about this if you have something to back your arguement up.

It was a cold day near the southern base in Blood Gulch. Cortana and I were relaxing over a game of Go Fish, WHEN OUT OF NO WHERE 700 BANSHEES CAME FLYING IN!!! I GRABED MY SPARTAN LASER AND LET HELL REIGN DOWN UPON THEM. I HOPPED IN THE NEAREST WARTHOG AND TOLD CORTANA TO GET IN.

I agree and disagree Liton. According to natural selection, we get what we want. If, of course, we can take it. The trees can't feel... but I do agree 110% about the corrupted society. Nobody thinks about others first these days.

lol... Banshee. Romulan Thread Decloaking... I like that. Can I use it sometime?

As I walked home today, I saw the clouds, covering up the world, as if it were a white fluffy wig the world uses to hide us- the discracing little tics that infest the world. We are not ruining this world, we already have ruined it, we have the ability to fix it, but why don't we? Because poloticians are greedy. They couldn't care less about our future unless it concerned them. As I said we are dooming our selves, and the planet. The creation of us was the hitting of the self destruct button on earth.

Another thing I noticed is how blind we are to our major fualts. We can see the slightest fault in us, such as a bad hairstyle. But we don't notice major ones. The most important one I think is the fact how we can forget things. We can forget all the great times we had, or the horrible ones that changed our life in a good way. Another one is that we are so bored with earth, we want to see something beautiful. well, look outside your window. Look into the sky, and visualise how it never ends, and focus on every detail. To me that is enough beauty to satisfy a lifetime, we have a world full of that, yet people dare to complain of how boreing their lives are.

This all adds to my general fact that the world is in denial. Another thing is entertainment. We can read books and picture the characters in our minds. But no we want these things on screen, or playable, when we are already doing that in our minds. But finaly people make it posible and we complain about it's imperfectness. The world is pesimist. The world is impure with us destroying the very beauty of it to make life easier, when we are just making it harder for everyone else who do not have any of these. Such as medicine, as we create medicine for sickness, the rich can buy it, but another virus from this antidote gets immited into our world of the poor. Money is another thing, people should just get food and water themselves, not sell it. Makeing everything for sale makes the world think they need money to live. People have become dependent on everything they made. It's as if we thrugh all of our knowledge into nothingness, left our peaceful homes and jumped onto it, depending on that, as if we are a child trying to show that we can live on our own.

I'm done for now, I'll add again later.

Good thing this type of thinking is dieing very quickly, or I would never be able to establish my Brave New World-esque totalitarian society.

PS. I really hate it when people disrespect the ground and such by landscaping it. It's fine if you really need something there, but if you want to ruin my desert for your suburbia, you can just remember: One day, that dirt will be you.

*Edits some more*
Ugh. I hate seeing green lawns in the desert. Green isn't the only color beauty comes in.

Believe it or not, I was thinking of that when I wrote that. "Dollar bills have white, too".

thank you for your replies and coments. And for the person who said thank god this type of feeling is going away: That's what I'm talking about when Isay denial. People need to help the world. Let's say you are the human race, and the world is your best friend. You shot him accidentally, and you have the power to save him at no cost, what do you do? Leave him for dead? or save his life? Man are choosing choice #1 unfortunately, and it has to stop, the beauty of this incredible world will soon fade, and the human race will be blinded with thoughts of technology and the future.

You are right. Not only does our own world hold many wonders, but so does the rest of the Universe. There are things out there that we can only begin to grasp, such as time travel (which IS possible by the way). Yet we will never have the time to fully understand the mysteries of our existence among other things. Our planet is the only thing we have right now, and it is slowly fading away. It's as though the Earth were a clock that needed to be wound in order to run. The clock is running out, the key is right there in front of us and yet we don't reach out and turn it. It saddens me to think we may never leave our solar system. We sent people to the Moon, why not the Mars? What is being done to expand our view of the Universe? There is so much out there and we still have not really made an effort to discover it. Sure we've mapped the stars, sent a few probes out such as the two Voyager probes, but nothing more. I'm not sure about everyone else here but I would at least like to see humans leave our solar system before I die.

EDIT: It is very likely that the reason we haven't paid much attention to our world and everything else out there is because we are scared. Humans are afraid to admit that there is something mroe out there that is so massive and complex we can't understand it. We are afraid of the unknown, like death. So we shut it out and concentrate on other things, small things in our daily lives.

nah, a hippie thread is optimistic, and comepletely one with nature and peace. This is different. This is pesimistic, and only living with nature, not one with it.
