Well, no circut city has halo 2 vista in stock except the one in NJ thats like 100 miles away. I got lucky and my parents told me that tomrow we are goin to that city Paramus in NJ, which has halo 2. So i was wonderin should I get it? I mean I dont care bou a ass comin up cuz im not gonna use the map editor. And are there any issues besdies that ass? My system can support it cept the grapics card which is a ATI X300/X550 but there should be no problem, my friend has the same card and the game runs O.K. So yea thoughts?

Uhh... That video card was low-end when it first came out. Obviously 2 years later it hasn't gotten any better. You're not going to have a good experience playing this game with that card (unless you call 640x480/800x600 with low LOD a good experience). Upgrade to a 7600GT/X1650XT or so. They're REALLY cheap at abour $99.

The few, the proud, the leet.

I'd be incredibly surprised if an X300 ran H2V even at minimum settings. Unlike Gearbox, Hired Gun didn't optimize the game to run on low-end hardware.

hired gun didnt do squat basically.
dude i wouldnt get it if i were you. the game is full of bugs and crashes often and runs poorly on rigs that are dual core 8800 gtx machines. so i would say no.

I find that it's a matter of luck whether or not this game runs on a PC, lol. For instance I cannot get it running on a C2D+8800GTS, but it runs absolutely fine on my C2D+7600GS.

The performance at around $99 is pretty much the same whether ATI or Nvidia. I don't have anything against the X1650 series. It's not great, but for $99 it should get the job done.

Do you have ANY idea what you are talking about? Seriously do some reasearch, Nvidia does NOT have a card that is faster. The x1650 XT is faster than the 7600 GT in most cases.

It doesn't really matter. High end cards running on dual core machines won't be able to run this game properly. I am so dissapointed.

If you're not using the editor AND you're running the game on minimum requirements, I would keep your money for Halo 3.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

Works fine on mine. AMD Athlon 64 2.4Ghz and a single nVidia GeForce 7600 GS.
