Yeah. Don't stay hidden.

Move after every other snipe... if you can do this and manage to have a beautiful quick-snipe, you'll rarely die.

I always keep moving when I snipe

There are many places to snipe from and remain partially secreted. On Lockout for example. The ramp between BR3 and the Library offers a good view of snipe tower and chances are you wont be noticed straight away. I generally find it best to change your position after you have killed the same person perhaps two or three times. As it is likely they will be coming after you sometime soon. Another tip you may want to consider is having a rotation system of 3-4 good spots on a map and moving between them randomly with no set pattern.

Good luck in your sniping sir may your shots fly true and your enemies be noobish and pre-pubescant.

try to kill the enemy in 1 or 2 shots anymore than that you have to move

yeah, like the others say above...........always move around the map. Especially after every kill (if you can). Chances are as soon as you kill someone, that person will tell the others of your whereabouts. So ALWAYS move around.

You also need to find the hotspots or certain maps and set yourself up well for a couple of quick kills. For example, hotspots on burial mounds are the nipples, alien sniper, back of ribs and the main base. On this map its a bad idea to be located at rockets as you can be sniped from anywhere on the map. The more you play the maps, the more you will figure out each hotspot for each map.

Try not to use anymore than 2 bullets when killing someone. Up close quarter sniping is quite common, so practice no scopes a lot. Never jump when in this situation, always move from side to side and make good use of your melee.

Um... you're thinking call of duty... You can't lean and slightly crouch higher than usual in this game. You just have to learn to be quick on your thumbs and trigger fingers, while being a good aim.

Military tactics: Shoot and relocate. (I believe it is called "displacing"???) Just like everyone else says.

yeah, I just basically stay in a spot where i can see a lot and hide when I crouch and keep killing people, and when someone figures out my location, I quicky kill them and relocate...

I think the best tip I could offer you about sniping is to never stay still... never. Not before the shot, not during the shot, and certainly not after the shot. Keeping hidden is always good, but just make sure you find a new spot once you've been discovered.

The truth is out there. We're just not looking in the right places.

Easy. Snipe someone until their either dead or wounded. Then run like hell to a another postion where you can either wait for a victim, or finish off your victim. I would suggest you move often. Or else you might not get a lot of kills.

you dont have to necessarily move after every shot. use the beam rifle because the beam trail(that it leaves after every shot) disappears quickly. The sniper rifle smoke trail takes a little longer to disappear. if you use a sniper then someone could easily track you with another sniper and kill you. There are some times when you will have to move after every shot or you will die.

It doesn't matter if you're hidden or not, the enemy knows you have a sniper and they'll come for you.

What's best to do is actually run around specific areas. These ares should limit the amount of ways an enemy can reach you AND give you some type of view of a good portion of the map. After a few kills or when your partners cease to give you the correct back up from the setup you just finished setting up, you move and do another location.

Stay on the move, it is harder to track a moving sniper rather than one who camps

Ghandi hop

Never and I mean NEVER call it a Ghandi hop again. Do you think Ghandi invented this tactic. He didn't. He was a pro who happened to use it, thus making it a Ghandi Hop? Thats not how it goes...just call it a jump and crouch method.

Would buny hop be acceptable sir? That's what i've always called it.

Why do you get so mad about this anyway?

But he's the one who made it more famous.

It's like saying don't call the BXR a BXR. Call it the melee shoot combo. No, not really.
