I lost my copy of halo 2 for Xbox so I had to make a decision between H2V and Halo 2 Xbox. I decided that since I did not want to pay for Xbox live anymore to buy H2V. I ordered my copy from Amazon and was thinking, this is great Halo 2 with better graphics, free multiplayer, and mouse and keyboard controls. However, there have been delays, and problems, and complaints about H2V. So I was wondering, do you think I made the right decision or should I have just bought a new copy of Halo 2 Vista?

If you have at least modest hardware then go for the Vista version. The higher resolution and updated textures make a great difference in visual quality (though it's definately not up to par with current pc games). Also you have a superior/keyboard mouse layout (which unfortunately makes legendary way too easy) and also access to the 360 pad. And don't forget achievements.

Not to mention many PC gamers have been playing harder, more difficult shooters since 1993.

Okay, that's an exaggeration, but you get my point.

I have a brand new PC with
2 Gb of Ram
4.8 Ghz dual core processor
300 Gb of drive space
Will it run well with that?

I have a fairly good mouse/gamepad setup. Is legendary actually to easy, I didnt find the Halo CE for PC legendary mode easy...but then agian I probably suck.

Thanks for posting!

Here you will need this to help you get your foot out of the back of your throat, looks llike its in there pretty deep. And what is that on your face? Egg?! *hands Kim a washcloth*

You dont have a 4.8 GHz dual core processor as there is no such thing aside from extreme overclocked ones in which case you wouldnt be asking this question. As for legendary it's not easy at all. It is challenging because there are so many more enemies to fight and you tend to run out of ammo a lot faster.

I assume he means he has a 2.4ghz dual core which he doubled since its dual core to 4.8ghz.
