Is it the lack of good players on my friends list to play alongside or is there a fault within my own game?
Can you make your question which you are trying to assert more clear? You lost me.

I've been going solo in the 'Team Slayer' playlist recently and when I finally decide to put the controller down, I'm left with mixed results. After my last 11 games solo, I've only won six games. Out of those 11 games, here's my stats.
While 11 games can show a definition of you, by no means should it be used as one. A KDR and such other such statistics have to be recorded over (hundreds and more preferably,) thousands of games. While, I'm not saying your statistics are off or should be completely avoided, just you know, it's not completely sound.

I play smart, or at least I try to do. Staying within range of my squad (without being too close), playing defensive with the lead, playing offensive without it, and try to have team control over essential weapons.
Yeah, that's similar to how a good person plays.

Is it even possible for one man to single handedly lift a team in matches,
HECK YES.
While I don't want to start naming people, there are people that can consistently carry their team over. Not only in kills, but assume command and give out advice, coordinates, tactical maneuvers, orders, and control power weapons.
Taking advantage of the field is the most important thing. You need to control how they can get to you.

or should I be looking to recruit better players?
You should ALWAYS be on the look out for good players. Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should. While it's possible to carry a team consistently, it's always best to have good players on your team. This will reduce many of the possible outcomes. Instead of burdening the whole weight on your shoulders, spread it out. It will make things much easier and will enable A LOT more wins.
"Just because you can drive with your feet, doesn't mean it's a damn good idea". <--lol (Goes something like that)

you think you know carrying a team? try playing swat. theres alot of different situations ive been put in in team swat,
So you think carrying a team in swat is meaningful? If you are able to kill and hide in a matter of seconds, it's not too bad. But when it's with shields and it takes you seconds just to kill someone, it gives ample time for the enemy team to snipe you, rocket you, nade you, hide, call for backup, and team BR you. Swat is much easier to solo.

this seperates the awesome kids like me, from the "regular" people.
If you're that good, why not go pro? Seeing as you can someone manage to have a ratio of 8:1, you must be something. Go ahead and try it.

if you wanna win games goin into matchmaking alone, you seriously have to do EVERYTHING in any playlist up to level 30 at least. have you ever won a
So you're saying in order to win games going in alone you have to be a level 30 and above in every playlist? What if all three of your teammates go negative 12. You really think you're gonna save them just because of your level?
Toxic, I can see you're pro.

Dude, who cares if you can double shot, or 4 shot, who cares if you can team BR or outstrat an entire team? It's all about fighting lowbies and owning them in team training while 3 of them are AFK!
