I'd Rather Be A Smartass Than A Dumbass

I have not yet met a pro that doesn't it makes things easier but the answer is no.

The problem herewithin lies sir is that without BxR BxB a player will have to have much more skill to make up for it before being considered pro.

I agree with Xiahou.

Button glitches don't make you better, but it does give you an edge. If you can quad shot someone pretty well, you'll be able to win a lot of BR battles if you're down a shot.

However, that doesn't make you pro. Pro players go to tournaments, of course, but they have to have amazing teamwork and chemistry (and of course skill) to come out on top.

You could consider button glitches to fall under the "skill" part, but it doesn't do much (if anything) for teamwork and chemistry.

Technically, no.

However if you can't do them you simply won't ever be in a position to be considered a pro. Understand? That might make little sense.

Watch a few games pros play. There's not too much opportunity for close-combat, because they never let the opposing teams get that close.

However, they do make people's lives easier. So it's nice to know, but not essential if you have a good BR and teammates backing you up.

Teamwork > Good BR > Glitches > Gas Prices

It isn''t a good idea to become dependent on glitches to give you an edge, considering an update may get rid of them, and that they most likely will not exist in the next game

hes got my point it is no actually, you don't need them to be considered Pro but it is not even likely that one person who is pro doesn't use them. I read the question at first wqrong.

The Question is do you have to KNOW them. Not do you have to be able to USE them. The point is that it falls in the same column as crouch and grenade jump, if you don't know what they are you actually are considered a noob, but if you know what they are and dont use them, you aren't considered a noob. Understand?

if you do not know the bxr, bxb, double and quad shot you will not be able to contend with the pros

And i dont BXR all the time i out BR them first =D

You may scoff Ma'am but if you as an adolescant are capable of winning thousands of $ for playing a game and beating everyone whether it was Halo 2 or Tiddlywinks Or Pokemon Red I believe you would do it even if only for the money It's not like athletes such as tennis or football players are doing anything much more substantial really when you think about it.

they are it is a huge diffrence i play way to many sports to know that.... Pro Sports is a Entertianment business... and you have to be physically superior then your oppenent most of the time...not like a vidoe game were even a kid could beat a 30 year old player .... which happens to often to count

The physically superior factor of course but that is just how they win sir and does not make much difference to the point I made.

i guess that is true to a point.... but anyways Some pros arnt that good and that is a fact.. they have just been noticed to do things... Diffrently.. then any one else.... i have played with some pros and so has my cousin yes we beat some and yes we lost agianst some.. and that is how we got better by realizing what they do diffrently... and now we are better then most... and that my friend is a fact..

A big part to success in Halo 3 or and Halo game is not getting frustrated when you feel you've been killed unjustly. Stay solid, and realize that its easier for you to come back when the other guys cant control their anger and frustration. Its hard to aim when your an emotional wreck :)

I personally believe that if you can get headshots 99% of the time, you'll do fine against anyone trying to use button combos. Only 4 shots to the head, thats not too bad if you can always get headshots.
