"EgyptnMagicn" and "t town thugs" are exploiters/cheaters!!!

I was playing some ranked teamslayer earlier today and came accross some cheaters while I was playing BR on Zanzibar. My little bro was in the room playing with his camera so I had him take pictures of the screen as proof! I think people that exploit the game are garbage and ought to be treated as so. Well anyway, here are the pictures of the cheaters in action, along with names and proof that they are in fact the ones cheating. Anyone know who I should send this too so they get the appropriate ban from bungie/xbl? I already reported them in game but I know that one report isnt going to make a difference.

As you can see, the cheaters are EgyptnMagicn and t town thugs. You can see this from a) they are on red team, and the player on the roof is red team and b) it shows "You were sniped by (one of those two) after I get killed by a player on the roof.

I have more pictures if further proof is needed but i figured that should suffice.
If anyone knows who I should email these cheaters about please tell me so I can notify the proper authoritys.
People like this just ruin the game....

um.. that kid wasnt cheating... he super jumped on top of the base on zanzibar (which 90% of the halo2 population can do) and then commenced in completely owning you... that doesnt require cheating... try practicing

if 90% of the halo 2 population can do it how come this is the first time ive seen it? are the other people just not doing it because they know its cheating or are you mixing the facts?

and super jump? whats the superjump powerup look like, ive never found one before. is it like active camo except green? i dont remember reading about super jump in the instruction manual. Oh, wait, super jumping is an exploit.

and im sure being on top of the building in zanzibar was one of the designers goals...... but only for superjumpers-those guys are l337.

Not a bannable offense, and you've never seen it because you weren't paying any attention. I don't think I have played on Zanzibar and not had at least one person go up there. Hell, you can buddy jump up there... Just jump onto the top of the window cover and have a buddy jump off of your head. It's easy.

You must not play enough halo then, because at least 1 out of every 5 games on any map someone will super jump. It's not cheating...you don't have to do anything to your xbox or your connection to do it. And getting on top of the building was a goal of the designers if you read the post above mine.

I guess bxr is cheating too.

The OP is a complete moron and a crybaby.

1. If you havn't seen superjumping by now, you probably have played less than 10 games on XBL

2. Stop coming to the forums to cry for sympathy, if you want that take your ass to church, I take it your just here for a flaming

3. BxR isnt cheating, because everyone can do it without modifying game content

4. You sound a lot like some guy i was playing with last night who accused me of bridging in team swat, said he worked for bungie, and was going to get me banned (LOL)

5. Cry more.

Real genius there.

Anyway, your right, I dont play on XBL a whole lot, I play at LAN parties and social gatherings mostly, I am in the Army and I havent had internet in a long time. I guess Im just used to playing with people who dont look for holes in a game design as a way of bettering themselves.

If it isnt cheating to get on top of levels (I saw someone do it on Turf as well earlier today) then I guess the point has been proven, Ill just have to learn how to climb myself.

I just find it disgusting that such a level of immaturity is rampant throught these forums. I was expecting more mature answers.

And I assume by BXR you are talking about the glitch with reload animations. Many of my fellow Halo players in the barracks are well aware of said glitch but NONE of us ever use it. It was never established as being cheap, or being a glitch, or even really talked about. It was discovered, laughed at, and then ignored. Why use something that obviously wasn't suppoed to be there in the first place. The glitch doesn't make anysense, the designers didnt WANT it to be there, so it in turn, shouldnt be there, and shouldnt be used.

And to whoever said the designers wanted you to be able to get on top of Zanzibar (or any level for that matter) obviously isnt a designer. If they wanted you up there they would have made a ladder/stairs/something of the sort and made it a regular area of the map. It wasnt designed as a "Superjump Only" section for "Uber-Snipers." Sometimes I wonder if you think before you speak.

For really good players in custom FFA's and such you have to BXR, but not super-bounce. I never do it. I just kill the dude. Most super-bouncers are stupid and stand on the edge where I can snipe his -blam!- head off. Plus your making fun of flamers. Then you flame yourself, I'm sorry but isn't that being a hypocrite?

Jump feet first into Hell in ODST Recon, THE place to be on B.net!
"Fifty years from now, when you're looking back on your life, don't you want to be able to say that you had the courage to get in the car?"

He didn't even have to super bounce to get up there. It's not hard to get up on top of that building without super bouncing. It just takes some fancy jumping. Oh, and just so everyone's aware, Bungie has made it clear that they consider both super bouncing and button glitches to be cheating, but they really don't do anything about it. Not trying to flame or argue or anything, that's just what Bungie has said. Personally, I don't like super bouncers, but even the pros use button combos, so I don't really care about those.

ahahaha
Just because something CAN happen doesn't mean it ever does happen.

i BxB and R--R--RRX which is barely a combo
i think BXR is overrated
i superbounce all the time
ive had 7 other accounts and "exploited" the game and network in various ways in them all (in moderation) and never had one banned.
they dont care, you shouldnt either.

Just to clear up a few things here:

Yes, you did get cheated. Superjumping IS, in fact, cheating. However, more than likely those cheaters are not going to get banned. Why? Because an overwhelming majority of players know how to do it.

If you play another 50 games or so, I can guarantee you that you will encounter more than 20 games with superjumpers, assuming you're above level 15.

That kid was cheating. He superjumped on top of the base on zanzibar (which 90% of the halo2 population can't do) and then commenced in completely cheating on you...that does require cheating... try not to practice it, or you will be banned.

That's better. LOL

1. If you haven't seen superjumping by now, you probably have played less than 10 games on XBL

2. I should stop coming to the forums to cry for attention, because I like to flame people out the ass!

3. BxR is cheating, because not everyone can do it.

4. I sound a lot like some guy who is not mature and acts like a jackass!

5. I should go home and cry to my mommy!

LMFAO!!! I love doing this.

I guess that Bungie is wrong, then, since they've said that using ANY glitch is cheating. (They listed it in their cheating faq, which doesn't seem to be up right now)

I'ts funny you come to the forums to cry about something as petty as SUPERJUMPING, i expect to see many followup posts such as being noob combo'd, being sniped, being shotgunned, being rocketed... etc.

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

Bungie considers anything that manipulates the game code to be cheating. Glitches manipulate some flaws in the code, and they're used to gain an unfair advantage over the people who play by the rules.

Plain and simple, its cheating.

However, Bungie is not banning people for doing this. They can't auto detect it, and they seem to have bigger fish to fry when you compare modders with exploiters.

You can send an email to h2cheats@microsoft.com if you like.

The best method is to leave cheating feedback on them via the xbox live feedback system.
