Well lately I've been loosing about every Team Hardcore game, I usually get in first or second place on my team, but today I decided to warm up so my team would have a better chance at winning.

So I trained by doing 1vs.1 of good people, 1 versus 4(i won, played noobs) and more custom games, pluss I practiced dobule shooting,BXR, and BXB.

So then when I went to do some Team Hardcore matches I ended it getting in last place. Most people had 12 kills while I had 4.

I may be sticking to certain tactics that differ from matchmaking, or I just need to work more as a team.

First team hardcore is a "team" game so the game doesnt soely depend on you,Sencond it could be objective gametypes where stratdigy is more important. Just cause you can BXB BXR and Double Quad or Three shot doesnt make you a good player. Like i said Team Hardcore not ffahardcore. Work on tactics too not just brute force thats the key

Seeing as I was a 38 in Hardcore before rank reset...I might be able to help you.

If you're playing Tactical, stay in your base (that's what I do). Wait for the flag pitch up to you, so that you can score. Staying in your base is good for a few reasons. One, the other team doesn't expect you to be in your base, they expect you on offense. Plus, while in your base, you can guard your teammate who's bringing the flag back. But that's just CTF.

Now! In playing Team Slayer BR, don't concentrate on the power weapons (aka Energy Sword and Sniper) because with the BR, you're well protected. But, this doesn't mean if you're walking right by a Sniper don't pick it up...MOST CERTAINLY PICK IT UP. Most of all, what you want to do is concentrate on NOT DYING. While doing that, kills will "come" to you and you'll go positive.

PS I got lessons from Legit.

He's right, don't rush the action....Also go in with people you played with before, they might not be the best but having people that trust what you say and don't quit instantly increase your chances of winning.

I am a level 19 in Hardcore presently. You need to go in with a team of 4 you know you will work well with. Always shout out enemy locations and help out your teamates. And gaining map control is very important on maps such as lockout. Feel free to send me a friend request. My gt is Kill3rWhal3

It might help to see how the MLG people play the games, at some point every gametype in hardcore was in MLG. The higher the levels get in hardcore the more common the MLG strategies are. You can probably find gameplays on youtube.

General Tips:
-play with a team you know
-use teamwork
-teamshoot
-communicate
-map control
-play smart
-try not to die alot
-be patient

As for the button combos, there are 2 types of players who use them. The first is the player who uses them to enhance his game. He is fundamentally sound and can easily get along without them, but he uses them if the needs to. The second is the player who uses them as a crutch. He has to do them to win. For example, this type of player can't out BR someone without a double shot. Don't be the second type of player, they are easy to beat once this weakness is exposed. You will become predicitable and almost powerless. I played a guy like this today in a 2v2, he couldn't out BR somebody without the double shot. All I had to do was strafe and hide behind cover right before he did it and he couldn't touch me.

If you can't do the button combos get really sound fundamentally. I don't bxr, rrx, etc... and I am still deadly in team hardcore. You just have to practice enough to learn how play without doing them.

Play with people you know. Whenever I play with randoms I lose almost all the games, especially when I'm playing against people who know each other. Of course none of my friends are ever on, so it's hard not to play by yourself.
