I wanted to know what I'll be missing if I bought the game, I know it can run it as I did a srstest and it meets the min specs (I'll be getting more RAM later) but wanted to know what effects I'll be missing or what gfx quality I'll be running: Low, Medium or High? If I disable VSYNC via command parameter on the shorcut I should probably get more fps right? Thanks in advance.

Will 1gb more of RAM do any good to my fps? or any other part? (speed etc.) please specify.

My specs are pretty similar to yours (Intel Core Duo 2.0 ghz, 1 GB of Ram, x1600 series) and I get a bit of lag just after loading a campaign level but it settles down completely after about 30 seconds. Multiplayer works nice and smooth. My settings are at 1024x768 and on medium, I probably could go a bit higher but I hate lag so I'm leaving it like it is. Extra RAM would probably help (since vista takes up so much ram already).

Extra ram will probably do next to nothing. Don't buy more for the game alone. Vista will turn stuff off automatically if Halo is asking for more RAM.

Here you will need this to help you get your foot out of the back of your throat, looks llike its in there pretty deep. And what is that on your face? Egg?! *hands Kim a washcloth*

Eww, running vista alone on 1GB is painful if you like to do any kind of multitasking.

Keyword is multitasking. I know when I have H2V I have at least 500+ megs of ram already filled from just other stuff and H2V itself is something around 750+ megs.

I am not using vista yet, but that amount of ram being using seems needlessly inefficient.

With no major things running on xp i use a little over 100MB.

Ram = 800mhz corsair c4 gaming (or something there abouts).
